    Interessant, witzig, informativ!

    Danke dafür!

    Grüße

  • it`s like Benny Hill making a slingshot, with the speeded up parts.

But I`m finding that I can`t wait to see the next videos that you put up as soon as I`m getting in from work....and I`m a night worker.

KEEP UP the Good work Joerg....Well appreciated :-)

  • that use wood?

  • I enjoyed watching this and I actually prefer this basic type of catapult to some of your more high-tech versions.

Wood has a nice feel and I like the simplicity.

    Great.

  • witch wood you used in this video.thanks

  • One more question?

what do you polish/paint/stain it with?

    thanks

  • @SuperGPAG This one has been stained with black ink for pens, then coated (4 layers) using polyurethane for boats.

  • hi Joerg,

does it matter how wide apart the forks are?

    thanks

    Archie

  • @SuperGPAG For beginners, yes. The fork should be wide and a bit higher. Advanced shooters don't need any fork width, as the flip down method takes care of that.

  • With which paint you painted it.I love this slingshot soo badly :)

  • @BorisStokicCobb No paint, black ink.

  • this one is my favorite

  • 5:27 chuck norris flossing his teath

  • the sounds!

  • @bowmaster619 if you type in "how to attach Theraband" on YouTube then you will see a video from gamekeeper John that shows you how to do it

  • Hi Joerg, great video. How long are the forks on that slingshot?

  • Welches Holz kannst du für Zwillen empfehlen?

  • Hi Jörg, were did you buy the rubber?

did you buy it online or not?

    Thanks

  • Hi Jörg, How long did it actually take you to make this slingshot?

  • @AbuYusefAlHalabi Maybe two hours. Sanding is the most time intensive part.

  • Jorg is so awesome. love your channel, slingshots, and your awesome accent

  • @ualcala97 the low fork decrease the strain on the wrist by cutting down on leverage.

  • haha I like the troll lesson

  • Jörg, what knot do you tie at the ends of the pouch?

  • @GrahambertusJosepha The constrictor knot.

  • Hey Joerg how exactly did u attatch the rubber to the grooves? the vid was sped up there and i didnt get a clear view of what u did to secure the bands

i know u used extra rubber to attatch it but how did u secure that extra rubber so that it wouldnt come loose? please respond im hopin to start making these myself soon since it looks like fun

  • do you like the forks short cause i thought that the were pretty good when you started

  • I had to look up orthography, does this mean I am a troll?

  • "If you have no message than steal one maybe" ha ha, 99% of the time that will be nesscessary

  • BUFF!

  • impressive!

  • Good Trollwork, haha! So, I learned to use slingshot when I was a little boy, and I keep this passion until now! Here in Brasil the costume is use the rubber tube (originally used to medical purpouses), "sorinho" is the common name here, and the desing of the fork is different. I found Thera Band recently, and I'll buy to test! Your channel is very usefull,I hope you continue showing us your "toys"!

  • hi Joerg i was just wondering if you can poly coat the stained slingshot... i stained my slingshot yesterday and i dont know if i should coat it... will it ruin the paint?

instead of poly, can i use linseed oil, sunflower oil or ever cooking oil? i hope you reply.. thanks :)

  • Jorg what did you use to smooth out the top edges of the slingshot?

  • @UlsterBoy01 I use ink, the stuff you normally use for fountain pens.

  • It's interesting that you dry the wood in the microwave. How old was the wood when you started making the slingshot? Also, how long did it take in the microwave?

This has got me thinking! Thanks :)

  • @AESamuel The wood was freshly cut. I microwave it for 90 secs at 600 watts, then let it cool for about 30 minutes. I repeat the process 3 or 4 times, until there is no more steam in the oven after the microwaving.

  • Hey some one help me out please. I want to be making slingshots like him with thera bands but dont know which colour i should start using if im 15

im sure ill only be able to use one strip per fork but i dont know which colour...oh btw im 15 just do you can get a idea...please help thanks in advance

  • Damn, I wish I could do work that fast!

  • Joreg , can you make a tut on putting rubbers on and on where to get the best rubbers for your various slingshots , like the pirate pistol slingshot . Please , would really help.

  • Jörg use a fixed blade knife for peeling of bark it works much better.

  • hahah this is cool

  • how long do you put the slingshot in the microwave for?

because yesterday i made one and it started cracking.. :(

    thanks so much! :)

  • SPRAVE... YOUR AWESOME!!!

  • Your time lapses are amazing.

  • Comment removed

  • thumbs up if your leaning on your left elbow

  • do the knots ever cause problem? I would think that the wood would be weaker in those areas.

  • There is no prouder feeling than making your own catty from scratch

  • I love how simple but effective your design is

  • 6:20 he stabs himself

  • can other people comfortably use your frame or is it meant for your hands only?

  • he definitely needs to try out for the worlds strongest man

  • :)))) "tinny roll"

  • this is a really funny one :))))) I love the quick motion :)))) and the "tinny role"

  • this is a really funny one :))))) I love the quick motion :))))

  • you are the best mc giver for the world

  • Thanks for the tutorial. I'm going to make some with my boys this weekend.

  • You should buy yourself some powertools :P

  • 0:41 thumbs up for hyper speed =D

  • Joerge can you make more videos like this, not exactly how too's just the the process of making the slingshots. They are incredibly interesting, it's like a cookery programmer or roids.

  • i really want to make one right now :D

  • 3 people got shot with a slingshot

  • @TaggingJoker Hmmm... now I am disappointed. I expected tons more!

  • @TaggingJoker u mean 4

  • I love the sound effects !

  • awesome hip-hop popping at 4:32

  • anyone else notice the hilarious speed-breathing at 2:02

  • OMG, how did you peal that bark so fast :O

:))) nice vid man im amazed !

  • Small tiny roll of theraband black?? Who are you trying to kid? lol.. that would do me at least 2 years!!!

  • how long do you microwave it?

  • I don't like natural forks... they are so... imperfect.

  • Where do you buy all that nice bands???

  • @zeidamaster I make them from Thera Band, I buy it online.

  • @JoergSprave Ok

  • have you ever thought about using a flex in order to build fork

    ?

  • the rasp sounds so funny hehehehe

  • Great video as usual Joerg!. How long did it take, Or rather... Could you make one in half the time? For instance with a smaller fork, using a slackened belt sander and an angle grinder.? With pre cut rubber... ?

I challenge you the master to set the world record for the fastest slingshot fashion and assembley!!!

Your videos are what makes youtube better than tv

hmm you're right its time to build another Slingshot. even if im not as fast as you are

  • 8:47 Boss stare.

  • fast knife

  • How long did it take for all the work in reality?

  • This is absolutely awesome! DOIN IT! Way to take on them loser trolls too LOL

    Richtwert?

  • Its damn funny to watch this vid - and might help a lot of people who never have done this ;-)

    great job!

  • laughed my assy off very good vid entertaining

  • Love the sped up parts. The only thing that would have made them funnier is having Yakety Sax playing in the background.

  • Do you always pull with your right hand?

Also, I love the troll suggestions at the end. Really original :)

  • @krap101 If I try draw with my left hands, bad things happen.

  • @JoergSprave how many "left hands" do you have ????

  • Great vid, thanks!

  • How can you be sure that the wood is thick enough, so that the fork is not breaking? I would always panic about that i recon..

  • @cantares1 Attach rope instead of rubber, clamp the frame in the vise, pull hard with both hands. If the frame survives, it is safe to shoot.

  • Lay off the Red Bull.

  • Real nice video. What kind of wood did you use? I'm going to try making one from apple wood.

    Take care Rafe

  • @MrPrimitiveman I think it was blackthorn, but I am not sure. Thorny it was.

  • Time laps - MORE PLEASE! :D

  • I love watching your slingshot channel and I am amazed that anyone has anything to troll about here. I LOVED when your video sped up! I laughed really hard. One question though. What tool did you use to make the grooves?

  • @provajon001 Knife, rasp, file.

  • @JoergSprave Danke

  • Wow... I've got nothing else to say except: Jesus fuck! You're amazing with slingshots and items used in their making o.o

  • i live about 20 feet from the woods but i cant find a naturl fork thats not rotten! so anoying

  • That was great. Thanks for posting. hats a real help.

  • i love time lapse vids

  • wow i wish i could peel bark that fast!

  • love to see the nautrals there beautifull work

  • lmao...had to rewatch this...EPIC for sure

  • A true hero.

  • Great video, it wasnt long or boring at all infact I was kinda sad when it ended. I also loved the Troll tip at the end :)

  • hey i 've been seeing people use laminate sling shots with multiple layers can you show how this is done plz

  • @TheDogcatchersito I have, just watch some more of my how tos.

  • the fast forward parts sound like power tools :P

  • The fast parts were hillariouse lol, sounded like a machine and you made my wife laugh and me as well, great vid Jorg.

  • Joerg- This is one of your best videos... excellent. I like the all black theme, and it looks like a nice shooter or a Slingshot i can try to make myself.

Cheers-Bravo- good job. and of course don't listen to any of the jerks- your English and camera work is excellent and absolutely impeccable.

    -David

  • Dang you're fast it takes me a couple of hours to make a fork...

  • Looks like the weather is fine now. Perfect for a SLINGSHOT CANNON DESTRUCTION VIDEO. Go Joerg GO!

....By the way what's this Troll thing I don't get it. This isn't about the Lord of the ring creature?

  • @MrChaosHeadz Gotta be over 10 degrees centigrade for serious rubber performance. Won't happen before mid February, I guess.

  • Coole Idee mit dem Fast Forward.

    Die Geräusche LOL

    XD

  • Hi Joerg, Just wondering what would the best type of slingshot, to use for Troll culling?

Perhaps you could design one specially :)

  • Amazing craftsmanship as usual, Joerg!

  • as always good video, it was fun to see joerg in super speed hahaha.

  • nice. what was the total manufacturing time?

  • @kumquatsta Took me an afternoon, but the video did delay it. Kind of cumbersome to always work within the camera view.

  • brilliant mate ! if you can it would be great to see all your vids like this

    stay safe pip

  • The only man that can look badass with a slingshot

  • what kind of wood would you recomend for making a slingshot like this

  • What a wonderful video, I think you were born with a wooden fork and a camera in your hand; and you probably looked quite similar . But I suggest you don't proceed in trying to teach English to trolls (as well as you may know it) I hear they speak sign language. Thanks again.

  • @wanderinggibbon Well, I just had this idea to make a running gag out of this as so many people sent me PMs and encouraged me to keep making fun out of the trolls. Until then I did not even realize that other publishers don't ever do that.

  • @JoergSprave Chosunninja, a fellow youtube enthusiast, handles them better than any other I've seen. This is a message to all 'Haters' as he calls them, may you have the wit of the strong.

  • Watching you make a slingshot is like magic.

  • Oh man, i was just about to go to sleep and then you post a new video

i quess i'll be tired for school tomorrow

  • *Lol Joe......that fast forwarding with sound an all was brilliant ., Bet you had your laughn as well as we did.

  • great work

  • great looking Slingshot

i had to smile though when at the start it said joerg sprave makes a slingshot

    could have been nothing else

    thank you Ade

  • @wufwufwufwuf "And nothing else matters"... (Metallica, 1992)

  • @JoergSprave wow, joerg, you listen good music! keep on!

  • Love the time lapse!

To steal a phrase from NutnFancy...The Slingshot Channel, making YouTube suck less, one video at a time.

  • @Russkiyspy eaven if IMO NutnFancy is a twat.. he's right about this.

  • Wie viel zeit steckst du täglich in dein youtube kanal und in deine steinschleudern?

  • are you a wizard?

  • Great video as usual Jörg, Don't listen to the trolls, they're just jealous because they're useless to society, and can't craft anything nearly as good as you :D

  • u should make a sling shot out of brazilian cherry, just put a clear coat of varnish and it would look amazing, kinda expensive though

  • Great work!

  • I always wondered how you finished your slingshots! - Great video. :D

    - The ink is a great idea!

  • nice work mate, have you ever thought about making a sling shot that would fire throwing weapons?

  • Das war alles in Echtzeit.

  • You are kinda woodworker :D

  • I wish there was more branches wher i lived

but its a desert and trees are rare

  • Thank you for bring out features such as contouring the wood for steadier holding. What kind of ink do you dye with? Also, could you tell us any tips on securing the rubber to the wood? Lastly, you have to have a reason the pouch is so thin in capacity. I was expecting it to be larger. Again, thank you for the video.

  • @MrToshTogo I use standard ink for fountain pens. After all, ink is made to dye plant fibre material! As you can see in the video, I use small rubber bands and wrap them around the bands and fork arms.

The pouch should be as small as possible, it is dead weight. A big pouch often weighs more than the ammo. Bad for performance.

  • @JoergSprave Wow! Good Point. Now to make one and learn how to shoot.

  • A NATURAL WOODY THAT DOESN'T SHOOT BLANKS IS WHAT GOT ME UP AND SLINGING MY SHOTS AFTER MAKING MY WOODY SHOOTER

  • I'm inclined to believe this video had no editing.

  • You don't have a wooden vise? Try leather covers over the jaws of your metal one.

  • echt genial , app ihn die mikro =)

  • Joerg for president :D

  • @acweird your not first

  • First :D , just had to :)

  • Cool

  • yay first

  • great as usual!

  • haha nice (;
