I saw your comment on both videos, sorry about that, I try to make weekends my rest day, but since you asked...
It doesn't make a difference if it's 3.2 (which honestly, is in the "big" range already) or 3.7, it's still small. Opera Mobile can resize the text buy double tap or by zooming into a paragraph. It re-arranges the text too so you can increase the font but not have to scroll too much.
Of course, on any smart phone it's best for mobile sites...
Hi there, I'm sorry but we didn't test Google maps on the Diamond2.
However, based on the Touch HD, which we did spend an extensive time with, the Google Maps would most probably be the standard Windows Mobile version of Google Maps, which does have street view.
We have yet to receive a review unit of the Touch Pro 2 yet. Both the phones were announced in Singapore on the same day, and in our really limited amount of time, we couldn't tell a difference in interface. They're supposed to be both running the Touch Flo 3D
When you mean radio, do you mean the GSM UMTS radio etc? If yes, I believe so. I never really checked, but I know it does HSDPA, but the number of bands available, I'm not sure.
yes, the GSM UMTS radio....hmm. As an owner of an HTC TP my only complaint was the amount of lag on the TF3D. Flashing a new rom changed that but still there are some glitchs that could be worked out...maybe using some of the Diamond2's setup.
I'm aware of that too, but I do know that with the Touch HD (Which I've reviewed before), they managed to prefect the combination of the hardware and software to make a really lag-free device, and when I played with the Diamond2, it appears that they're doing the right thing by passing along that performance from the Touch HD to the Diamond2 as well.
I presume they will do the same with the Touch Pro2
Yea, you can choose where you want to put the program in (I'm presuming you're referring to when you touch the start button) just by touching the plus sign. I don't know about dragging the shortcuts around though.
The first screen is a shortcuts screen where you put apps you want to quickly access. Then you press "all programs" below to get to the list of everything
No, I don't think you can. It works more like empty slots for you to choose what short cut you want to put in them. If you want to change the position, you have to clear that slot, choose another one and assign that new slot.
The touch pro 2 should be using an identical version of the software, safe for some conference calling enhancements though since I haven't played with it yet, I can't confirm that 100%.
You are reffering to Apple solutions and design. The HTC has the exact same function, but in a little less stylish way, only they have chosen another solution. This phone is great. Thanks for video ! It kicks iPhone's ass, even though the HD did long time ago.
is this better then the iphone i dunno what 2 get coz there a roumour os a new iphone in june so i dnt want 2 get the old 1 a month b4 a new one would come out!
I wouldn't call it better. It all depends what kind of phone you need and what you need the phone for. The Touch Diamond2 and the TouchFlo3D is a great phone for people who want quick access to your calendar, email, and other personal information, as well as organising your contacts' information and find them quickly, like if you have clients and want to know your history with them etc.
The iPhone is better if you're looking for entertainment such as games, music and videos.
Then I suggest you get the iPhone. There are several free instant messaging apps for the iPhone that lets you connect to and use MSN.
Of course if you really want to have the latest iPhone, I suggest waiting for the next iPhone, which should be on sale by July, based on last year's release date.
htc diamond 2 is too bad.the first one is way better

Unfortunately the touch diamond 2 is very bad!
after some weeks you will have dust inside the screen.... on the upper left side, where the volume buttons are.....
Good phone, but the dust problem destroys all (at the moment)

How is the sound in the HTC touch diamond 2?
KingAmirJR 2 years ago
Do you mean call or music? If call, we only had it for a few days, so we didn't do extensive tests in that area.
