  • I am really happy that you have posted this video. I saw a show on the History Channel about this just the other day. My wife is from Visby, Gotland & they definately have a very different dialect than most "main lander" Swedes. Being isolated on an island from the main land for so many centuries the Gotlantic people most certainly have their own "slang" uses of verbs etc... this is really very interesting & thank you for posting.   • @aratheartist It's Gotlland (some references might have it as Gottland) in the Baltic Sea, sort of half way between Sweden and the Baltic Nations.
