You have no idea how to care for hermit crabs first of all you need a tank to keep moisture in and you need sand or coconut shavings you also need two water bowls one with salt water not table salt and you need one with fresh water

@11marioboots ya just add sand insted of gravel give the crab vitamins, and put alarge piece of crab wood sideways like a climb ramp and then in my opinion the cage is great! :D be sure to play with your crab. Ps: I like the sleepover video you made :DDDDD

@11marioboots Most likely from asphyxiation. They need high humidity to breathe, so by keeping it in a wire cage you slowly chocked it to death :C

There is a good reason to why your crabs are dying. That cage is horrid no offense but you need to get a tank because they store heat and humidity much better than that bird cage. Sand or coco fiber are the only two subtible substrates and gravel is one of the worst. They can not molt in that substrate and if they don't think it's okay to molt in they will delay it until they drop fed. Oh and calci sand is a bad substrate too.
