Thanks for posting. Pretty much maintained my own hair. My natural color is black with shades of brown tint. My locs are extremely long and I want to color them " jet black", using a professional product.

My question is, do one normally buy the product(s) that I need and take to the salon, whereby, they just charge a flat fee for labor? I was quoted a price but not sure if I should bite yet.
