@GCRams2 We usually do things alot better than any other country. I've watched USA, South Africa, Swedish and Australian Gladiators in my lifetime and not one of them came close to matching the sheer scale the United Kingdom did it. UK Gladiators was epic, Saturday nights have not been the same. I still don't understand why ITV cancelled the show...couldn't of been ratings as it was consistently getting over 10 million per episode.

I miss Gladiators more than perhaps any game show other than Robot Wars. Sky's reboot wasn't bad but it should have been on ITV again and had the original theme (though the change in hosts was understandable). Anyone remember that similar show that was on ice? I think it only ran for one or maybe two series, but it was actually quite good fun. The characters of the people the contestants were up against were lot darker than those of the Gladiators, and the fact they were on ice added difficulty.
