This is AN orthodox church... so there is no difference to THE orthodox church... but if you meant if there were some differences to the Greek or Russian orthodox churches, then yes... there are certain differences. We have an own rite and there are also some minor theological differences... we belong to the family of oriental-orthodox churches together with the Indian, Egyptian (coptic), Syrian, Eritrean and Armenian Orthodox churches.

I wonder if most people know that the Coptic and Ethiopian Orthodox are some of the oldest sects in Christianity. The Armenians were the first to embrace Christianity as their state religion, in the 4th century...too bad the Turks chose to kill 2 million of them in 1915, simply because of the fact they were Christians.
