Budget airline? Your life is worther than that.Next time fly with Thai airways.You will know why have to pay more.For the same case if were Thai,it will never ever happen for sure.. cuz captain will divert to other stations or fly back to bangkok.

Strong wind is extremely dangerous for landing!

But the plane should be torn pieces by pieces cuz fuel should be at least an a half of tanks for flying back)What about those fuel left? caused attempting to land?

it doesnt matter if it was a budget airliner, accidents do happen. look in2 figures on the american airlines,those were not budget airliners..budget airliners also hav other alternatives..the factors most of the airliners hav to worry abt is whether they hav enough fuel(even for established airliners) or not
