hey gix i recommend the gothic trilogy. i am sure you will enjoy it. gothic and TES are the best rpgs i have ever played. gothic 1 was the first rpg i played and it is so awesome even after all this years.

Gix does not reload his games. He will take any consequence that comes from his actions, like that Odiil Farm quest where he could not save both sons. Also he will roleplay and will stay in character as much as he can. I love Gix lp videos, they are the best in youtube.

Gix is a breton with 50% resistance to magic and has the atronach birthsign so he has 50% magic absorbtion as well. That makes him 100% immune to magic attacks, right?

Back in Morrowind i could go to lvl 10 and done around 30 quests and i had only explored Vivec. There are still hundreds of quests I have not done. Anyone know a mod for Oblivion wich adds quests or more things to do?

The Gothics are great, but they're more like Action-Adventure games with RPG elements than outright role-playing games. They beat the hell out of Oblivion when it comes to atmosphere and narrative (at least 1 and 2 do).

@gixG17 that's because it was virtually a europe/asia exclusive game only, not once did the producers try to capture players from the Americas up until recently. The 4th game in the series has come to the forefront and has come overseas, thus the new found exposure you have been experiencing (moreso 2 months ago, the date of the comment i'm responding too :P)

@gixG17 You can usually hop up on the rock at the edge field and fire spells at the goblins before they get to the sons. The bothers will usually not engage in battle until they are hit.

Gix, have you noticed that all the Oblivion DLC copied the voice acting because they didn't want to pay the voice actors? A notable example is Battlehorn Castle. When you break their siege the man at arms says "Today is indeed a dark day for all of us left, but I thank you for risking your own life to help us." That's taken from Savlian Matius after you find the Count of Kvatch. The Orrery, the "You have the items I needed" dialogue is from the Fighters Guild Five Ectoplasms quest.

@shadowspike99 While it's true that the Fingers of the Mountain spell gets more powerful at higher levels, the magicka cost also becomes much larger and is actually a lot more expensive than the same spell would cost if you were to make it at a spell making altar. The high magicka cost is definitely not practical for someone with the Atronach birthsign.

or at least make it some kinda travel system that you have to pay for or can only use at certain times.. for example a coach that arrives at cities at certain points that you can pay to use... similar to the trains in red dead redemption

Personally I don't usually use it, but I say "Never Again" to Walking for 20 minutes in Morrowind to get to places inacessible by travel such as Pelagiad, then getting a shitty quest reward . I personally love both games, but Fast Travel, as I said, is optional in Oblivion so if you don't like it don't use it. If you can't resist it, download a mod that turns it off. I'm sure at least one exists.

@masterplusmargarita In Morrowind you have means of transportation everywhere: silt striders, boats, mages guild transport, mark and recall, divine intervention, and almsivi intervention which makes it much more realistic and immersive. In Oblivion you *only* have fast travel. So yes, it does kind of ruin the game where you have to choose between walking/riding everywhere in order to feel immersed (because there is no other way) and using the lame, uncreative fast travel.

@ViceCommando Works for the horse cause I do it but it wouldn't for Bob. Bob's "health" is a timer to when he dies. If he takes a hit the timer gets shorter, its not reallly a health bar, and you can't increase the timer.
