sorry to tell you but you dont need to own an SHO to know that the v8 SHO's were not nearly as fast as the all of the other generations. not to mention they didnt look as good. the only benefit that the v8's had was that they sounded amazing. but performance wise, 89-95 SHO's>96-99 SHO's. i dont know how you could think otherwise. ask anybody in the SHO community other than bias people like you and they will tell you that Ford fucked up a good thing when they went to the v8's

@tqdvorak Stock for stock the V8 SHO is faster, not mod for mod because there is very little you can do to the v8 SHO performance wise. Also the 2010 SHO is faster than both and it's about 1000lbs more in weight.

The 92 Taurus IS really his car, but it's definately not his primary ride and he only occasionally drives it anymore. It's clearly kept for its sentimental value and its comedic value. It was his real primary car for a few years in the early 90s.
