There was nothing good about Dillinger. He was a menace to society and couldn't be given a chance to turn around or reach for a gun. FBI was in "imminent danger" 1 second after they encountered him. And guess what? He again failed to comply, ran and was shot. Gun found on him. Surprise.

But Floyd was a day earlier extremely far from Kansas City...Its unlikely that he could have reached Union Station in time for the assault. Plus the police of the day believed Floyds letter denying responsibility. He was never charged w/ murder. Floyd only killed the bounty hunter after being shot in da balls
