Gotta say Josh has a blend of Dylan and John Prine IMHO .. he is the real deal for sure as far as lyrics and he is no slouch in the music category either .. dont judge him based on this vid alone, he has some great songs, and this is just one of them... btw, there are four chords tastefully put together in this progression with a Dm in the verses, very nice use of the two minor chord.

Josh is always so witty on stage and in his banter with the crowd. Love it. I am a huge Josh fan since 1999, but over the past year have become addicted to anything JOHN PRINE. As a performer and songwriter, does anyone else see a strong parallel between Josh Ritter and John Prine? I know Josh has covered a few Prine tunes like Spanish Pipedream.
