The best point guard to come out of Detroit by far...The NBA was scared of Rashad because he would of stole all of Iversons fame. Arguably the best point guard never to be drafted. Sick handle, sick jump shot, sick moves, great passer, never misses free throws, very quick, bullet fast. U of D should rename the gym after him if they name the locker room after willie green. Ask willie green about Rashad he will tell u if Rashad was all thee above.

Rashad is and was the best point guard in the nation in 2001. He won the Naismith award to back up my statement. Also the rang on his jumpshot still hasn't been matched. Look from where he shoots from at 7:05 with a defender all over him, also look at all his 3point shots in this vid. He reminds me of a T.J Ford with a Ray Allen type of stroke. Okay this is my last comment to you sir cause I got better things to do than defend somebody I only play basketball with: How can you be "Poo" if you are your schools (D1) all time leading scorer? And the only reason Perth released him is because they thought they were going to get a better guard with NBA experience, but hey not everybody perfect. But it does not change the fact that he was sacked from the Perth Wildcats cause hes was POO. He cant play, he could not even hold his own over here so they got rid of him.

Rashad Phillips is the best guard I've ever seen in real life. The King of Detroit, only a few can hold a candle to him (Rolando Todd, and Greg Grays) Better than Iverson? Absolutely! No question asked. Better shooter, decesion maker and player just asked Tajuan Porter. I'm not even from Detroit (Newark NJ) and I played with Shad at the Saint, hands down the best player I ever saw him and my cousin Rolando Todd (Frenso St). Hope he lands somewhere nice Perth Wildcats FUCKED UP!

Cheers for posting that. Cool to see old RP Titans footage. Being a Cats fan, I'll never quite get why Rashad got bumped so quickly, and featuring strong numbers. He could and still can really ball. I hope he keeps working hard.

At 5:20 Rashad is torching Jamal Crawford from the Knicks..Rashad was the sickest small guard in college we've seen. Rashad is a better shooter and basketball player than Allen Iverson. Higher IQ than A.I. hands down. U of D's all time leading scorer, 3pt maker and freethrows. The definition of a true basketball player. How can the pistons not even give a hometown legend a chance.
