I know many asked about how you did the light from the windows. But never seen you made a comment response, so i wonder the same how you did that. Then i also wonder the textures, do you download them? or make them yourself?
It's been a long time since i did this scene, but the light from the windows was done with simple textured planes, with a texture face setting of "Add". If you don't mean the halos, the lighting was done with a bunch of spotlights, but in retrospect, it should have been baked.
wow man, awesome work, i like it a lot. all the environment and the lights effects, everything really amazing. and with the GE. blender the best and the people who work with it, better yet.
@eedobaba7726 Thanks for the tip - cool piece. Random thing; I just looked it up, the site labels the piece as baroque. The composer is Arvo Part, who's very, very, very 20th century. Not baroque, in other words...
Nice render, by the way. It's really hard to evoke the impression of indirect/natural light, and you did it quite nicely.
tutorial?

GreenTeaGringo 1 year ago
This is probably a stupid question, but how did you keyframe the camera movement in BGE?
TheFXGuy 1 year ago
@TheFXGuy Just animated the camera with ipo curves, then set up logic bricks to play the animation for the duration of it's length.
eedobaba7726 1 year ago
@eedobaba7726 Or link the camera to a bone and animate the armature. That's what I do.
Amazing light effects.

there's lots of lag going on... what's the frame rate? It's an issue with the engine, not your fault
