  • Andy Murray voted 8 times

  • warning: this is tennis porn!!!

  • his footwork is like dancing.....tango on dearest

  • textbook textbook textbook!

  • letting federer dictate the point with his forehand from the backhand corner is like suicide

  • what is an inside-out forehand? video doesn't help me much. English is not my first language so it's hard to understand the tennis language.

  • @TTFAFF well it'd help if you just do yourself a favor by trying to google it first before asking this kind of questions

  • @rucryan dude fk the hell off. cant he just ask a question?

  • @rucryan isn't typing this question here is just the same thing? how about you do yourself a favor and google "how to quit being a scum"

  • @TTFAFF An inside-out forehand is basically a forehand hit crosscourt from the backhand side of your court.

  • @anner92 thanks man, I understood it now!

  • wow.....that's pronation kinda like on the serve

  • roger federer king of the tennis

  • any tips on hitting an inside out forehand?

eg. where my foot/shoulders should be facing, stance,

everytime i run around my BH; the ball goes to the center instead of going BH crosscourt

    tips?

  • @buffonang i really have been working on mine, first tip is set up a point were you are going to receive a ball to your backhand side, now not every one that comes your way is worth running around wait for a shorter one, i think you should start with a cross court backhand that bounces around the service line. now really move far to the ad side, really get over there and really turn your shoulders. when you rotate to hit the ball you should be facing your opponents ad side not the middle.

  • i think you should try for extreme angles, try to hit the service line corner, put a lot of top spin on it. remember close your shoulders and really move over to the ad side. if you move too far that's ok because you can move into the ball. but that gives you time to set up. another tip is if you do get a good angle on it you might want to think about running in after it, follow the line of your ball. because the easiest shot your opponent will have to return it is crosscourt.

  • @firedancerart you are an idiot.. everything you just told these people is wrong. You don't go for the lines when you are hitting any shot especially not when you are hitting a short angle inside out forehand..You don't follow a cross court ball into the net.. the first option your opponent has when you approach is down the line. The quickest way from point a to b is a straigh line not a diagonal line. please never give a tennis tip in your life again. Thanks!

  • @flexmann100 my tip is when learning have fun with it, and its clear to me you don't play tennis, if you get a good solid forehand on it, your opponent will have to stretch for the ball if they can reach it which usually means they are giving you a slice backhand back, run in and attack it. i mean if you dont hit a solid forehand dont run in for sure but if you are running around your forehand you better put something on it cause you are now out of position.

  • and there is no reason not to go for the baseline ad corner or service line corner, if you are attacking go for it. most people are right handed and usually the backhand is weaker, take time away by getting it deep or take them off the court, if they want to get the ball back make them earn it. and if you see them going to the one hand backhand slice, if you can cut off the ball do it. i dont understand what was stupid about my post, what would your tips be?

  • @firedancerart if you play an inside out forehand you have too much court to cover to get to net and successfully cover a pass against any decent player... i suggest using the inside out forehand to set up the short ball which you can attack inside-in and follow it to net.. watch fed play. he very rarely follows his initial inside out forehand to net but he will often use his inside out forehand to get a short ball that he can then pounce on and dictate play...

  • im 18, use to work out my back with weights, now i want a more fit, tennis player like back. you know, broad, flat, and just strong looking like rogers.

what kind of exercises and things can i use to get a nice broad, fit, strong back like roger has? thanks

  • deadlifts, rows , pullups. these are enough

  • roger does not lift weights but im sure he does lots of strength training exercises for his core and legs which are the main muscles in tennis. do lots of cardio (play tennis regularly for example) and eat healthy low fat foods and you can get a trim athletic body like mr. federer, good luck

  • he does work out with weights, but he uses them in a different way, check out

``nike training, roger federer´´ on youtube and you will see him working out in the gym.

  • lol, try deadlifts

  • Check out 0:44 It looks like Roger shanks this one, it starts good at around 0:43 but then it looks like the ball rolls and hits the frame. Its hard to pause on time because he swings so fast, and needless to say, it looks like the fast swing speed still delivers a decent shot even on shanks.

  • no, he doesnt shank it. it you look carefully, the ball is already starting to move away from his racket. the part where it looks like he's hitting the frame is just him closing the racket face on his follow through, the camera angle is what makes it look like its touching the ball.

  • i am getting that raquet for christmas

  • dont be mistaken, just because the best uses it doesnt mean its for you!

  • i agree, i use it but it takes a really long time to get used to the small headsize and weight

  • i already have federers previous raquet the Ncode nTour six one 90 and i play greatly with it just want more control thats why im going to get this one

  • Wilson rackets does great job to help you control the ball; anyway, if you know how to it, you prefer to gather accuracy than the power you already have.

Power is nice to kill a rally, but you need to prepare the play before that. Control brings you more options and you feel more free to drive into the ball as you would with harder strings or lighter racket, in my opinion.

  • I love his footwork! Looks like hes flying =)

  • awesome footwork!!

  • this is sex on the tennis court!

  • Man i tried to hit Forehand like he does, but thats just impossible!Roger is the greatest,a Legend.GO ROGER!

  • where's nadal slo-mo!? -_-

  • nadal doesn't move in slo-mo!

  • ah ha xD

  • Awesome!

The most beautiful movement that I ever seen!

  • orgasm

  • God, this is magic.....Can't stop watching. Again and again.

Roger, please return to the no.1 you are the greatest....

  • and how many slams he have????

  • wow what a great argument!!!!!

when nadal is 27 he will not play tennis anymore

  • ... thumbs down MadBanana, thumbs down.

  • nadal the pusher was n2 for 4yrs behind fed, he waited for fed to has Mononucleosis

  • how do u know he didn't reach his prime yet? he's going to be beaten by youngster more often (delpotro already) than Roger was hihi :)

Dimitrov will take care of Nadal

  • HA did you watch the french? nadal was wiped out in the 4th round by robin soderling, and fed had no trouble taking him on in the finals, AND had no trouble with him today at wimbledon

  • obviously, he couldn't have problem with a player which has forfait the tournament...

  • how is nadal a pusher? just because he stays behind the baseline? like pretty much every other pro on the tour? huh...

  • You said it hes a baseliner and nothing but a baseliner and that says everything.

  • No, he is actually considered agressive because he is often the one which acclerate the play and he runs into the court as often as he can.

Federer has also this behavior. But, Federer has more control and accuracy while Nadal has more power.

When you play well, you want to enter the court on a baseline rally. As soon as a ball is short, you kill it. It's why you often see Federer rushing into the court very fast and the rally is doen there very often.

  • say what again?

    Hahaha

  • Good Point

    :-)

  • yeh like borg im guessing

  • Federer is 5 older, and like seidl said, when Nadal is 27 he won't be playing anymore! His knees are in horrible shape even at 23. Federer, on the other hand, will last into his thirties.

  • 13 in 6 f*** yrs!

  • @sollarman no 1 in my heart. always, Inspiration to play tennis never dies out.

  • Great video! Thanks guys!
