I think they should be tried and prosecuted just like the people they arrest and assault by the people they arrest and assault. It's the only way we can stop these kinds of things from happening. In Indiana if the police are serving a warrant and erroneously break down the door to the wrong house, say yours but they're looking for your neighbor 2 doors down, and you defend yourself against these unknown assailants (say with 2nd Amendment) YOU are at fault and have committed a crime. If people rise up against the government's enforcement then that's an act of terror, an those involved are "enemy combatants" or terrorists.
