-sigh- I wish I could find this scene in Japanese. I hate how the English cast can't pronounce Jansen's name correctly... The "J" is silent, pronounced as a "Y"... why oh why did they decide to do that?!?! That's like... pronouncing "Juan" like "Joo-ahn" or something like that.

Still though, this is 2nd my favorite game of all time behind Final Fantasy VII, maybe VI as well. Then Final Fantasy IV comes in after LO. Oh and FFIX, and Legend of Dragoon and even Lunar SS and EB.

@HaldamirElensar I have tried and the fact that they PRONOUNCE JANSEN'S NAME WRONG is enough for me to say that it is a BAD English dub. They MISPRONOUNCE his name!!!! The dub is awful, I've tried many times to play it in English, and my friend even wanted to play it in English until he heard it, then I switched it to Japanese for him and he was like "oh, much better". And Cooke and Mack's English voices were AWFUL too. I just can't listen to it when they can't say "Jansen" correctly.

hey mine was freezing too, but only cus my xbox had been on for a while and it was really hot. Turn off ur xbox for a while and let it cool down. Then u can play, i havent had any issues since.

A year too late i know, but the disc comes in a paper sleeve. The sleeve leaves a reidue on the disc. Clean the disc thourly and install it onto the HDD. If it fails, clean again and retry. It's the only way i could do it.

there is only ONE place where you cant go back and thats....the entrance to the final dungeon, which is not a dungeon but only the final boss.

Its in the Tower of Mirrors place, when you go from the deep sea.

Relax, dont worry, you can still beat the side bosses , its not late.

Btw, if you are under 40 level and decide to enter the Easter Tribe Ruins..go...with....caution...

These two were my two favorite characters hands down. Jansen was always such a lovable, goofball, and Ming was the essence of regal beauty and kindness. Ever since she was first introduced with him kidnapping her I knew they would be hooking up. That's what I love about RPGs like this. The creators aren't afraid to throw in a little romance sub-plot out there for all those girls (and guys) who like it! Hehe

This.. this is a japanese RPG? but the dialouge has flow... the acting doesnt make we retch.... (they're wearing ridiculous outfits but what the hey 2 outa 3 aint bad) Im very shocked at the quality of this scene, espcially at the part where the male lead is tripping over his own tounge, Ive played enough JRPGs to know that scene could have gone south at light speed. kudos to the actors and writers (or translators whatever)

Yes, it is a JRPG - The game was developed in Japan, the story and dialogues were originally written in Japanese however, all the lip-sync was done using the English version as reference.

Thus, the English voice actors were able to talk freely. The voice actor for Jansen (Michael McGaharn) said, that they could also add a lot of their own touch to the characters, to slightly go off script at times, as in this scene.

Who would kick someone like that!? only Cooke can, and thats just like her charakter. i love that. This game is made by Mistwalker which (yet) is not a very big company. However they got the best of the best working on the games, and sakaguchi (the most awesome person in the world) he probably controled most of the game so he could make it just as he wanted it. And he got very good storytelling skill. That is what makes this game so good. Sakaguchi and Uematsu FTW!!
