I don't know why you put so many mclarens at the end and no Ferraris, which were clearly the dominant cars from 1999-2004 and again in 2007. Don't you remember how crappy the mercs were at that time? They blew engines at almost every race! And Raikonnen's rear wing flying off for no reason? The only decent merc of that period was the 2007 car... and that's because they stole Ferrari's design!!!! (also might have something to do with Hamilton winning in '08)

What I know about formula one you could write on the back of a postage stamp, but I have made one observation, and it struck me for the first time the other day when I watched a news report about the recent race at Silverstone? I can't get over how the front of the cars have shrunk over the years, almost to the point where it is non existant! That ,and the fact that big wheels have returned to the front of the car, just as they began in the early days. Can any boffins out there tell me why?

As for those cars, I didn't miss them really, it was just tough to find cars from the 50's-60's. Most of the pics were of ferrari and lotus. I also wanted to get a good pic of a car from a specific year as to show as much of it as possible. No sense adding one that is from a far distance or has multiple cars in it.

Jack Brabham, he's an Australian that was 3 times champion. He was later given an knighthood and became SIr Jack.

Also not a single picture by Jackie Stewart who was 3 time champion and won 27 races in 99 starts. Not to mention he did so much to improve the safety of the sport.

In the 10 seasons of the 60's Lotus won 36 races compared to Ferrari's 13 (that's almost 3 times as many!). Brabham (the team) and BRM won 12 races each, and Matra 9.

Team Brabham won 35 races and 6 titles

Actually I love the Ferrari street machines, although extremely expensive they are the best cars around. Always great to see some rich dude driving one around from time to time.

However, in F1, I have always liked McLaren as I am 27 yrs old and grew up watch Senna and Prost battling it out in the McLaren's, so I have always liked them for that reason.

As for showing a pic for each year a driver won, that would have been nigh-on to impossible, as finding a pic for each year proved to be quite a challenging task itself. :P

That pic where is Mika Häkkinen 1998 whit the McLaren, dude it aint 1998, because the tires, they used slics in the -98, you clearly saw that he had the tires they use nowdays, which was used first time in the 1999 season. Anyway, Nice vid, Good job.

Actually, they were introduced in 1998 however, the front tires only had 3 grooves. In 1999 the front tires grooves were increased to 4. ;)

You know I did mention why I didn't have Alonso and Schumacher already. Kimi is meantioned as well, but I made this video about 2-3 months ago... must have been late summer, so I put Hamilton for 2007 as he was leading the championship and I was hoping he would win.

For each year a driver is shown, but they didn't neccesarily win the championship that year. That wasn't the purpose of the video as I stated below. ;)

Honestly, I am not a Schumacher fan. Sure he is clearly a good driver, and I respect that, but his attitude is something that isn't very likeable. Alonso seems a bit like that as well which is probably why I forgot about him as well.

This is nothing personal to either of those drivers or their fans. This video was mainly intended to focus on the changes made to the cars over the past 57 years. Who was driving the car in each pic just seemed like a reasonable addition.
