I love this song. Check a cover version in a bar from two dudes who are trying to focus on the song while a wino is showing his appreciation a bit too much. Just type The Subway Cowboys The bottle let me down...
Its exactly the same with Jesse Johnson (He who sang with Prince and produced records for many top RnB singers) Most people loved him for his Paisley Funk a la Prince, . However, he released the awesome Bare your Naked Soul in the early 90s which was absolutely stunning Classic Rock a la Hendrix. This took many of his original fans by surprise. Its a shame these guys cant completely satisfy both sets of fans. Then again, we have crooners like Rod Stewart and Phil Collins Nuff said
Sorry Dudes, as much as his Country music is well appreciated, it was his kick-ass blues Boogie Rock that ruled. Songs like Fat bottomed girl, My Babys a Pig, Waiting by the Railroad, I'm the Reason, Hillbilly Cool are the real deal
Mr. Hall; You are as great as your DAD. I remember the first time I listen to your DAD (I was 12 Years old) I think it was rabishing Ruby and The year that claton delany died I knew he was some one that got ear. ( still does ) Love great country singers and You are one Keep them comming. Love to hear you and your DAD Mr Tom T Hall do something together. Good Luck
