The Skull Knight and Zod are opposites, but eerily similar as a result. They both forfeited their humanity to augment their abilities, even if they were for very different reasons. At the end of the day, Guts might have avoided traveling Zod's path, but he's squarely on the Skull Knight's now.

Kinda jars the action when shit's jumping around like that, and I've seen high-quality captures with smooth animation you could've used. I'd recommend a higher-quality redo, maybe something in 720p, but it's still pretty kickass as is!

Griffith had become dependent on Guts. Guts was Griffith's "strong arm". Enemies on the battlefield were as afraid of Guts as they were of him. So when Guts decides to go his own way, that ticked off Griffith. From his perspective, Guts was 'betraying' him.
It was very selfish of Griffith and it went against his creed, but as the series went along, you could see Griffith becoming more and more self-indulgent as he gained more power.

That isn't true. The word is norse "bärsärk" in Swedish means bear chemise and is similar in other nordic countries. It's mentioned in viking sagas and belived to be a rage as gift from Odin. There wasn't even really any berserkers in the anime either :(
Yeah read Vinland saga when I desperately needed something to fill the hole in my life that was left when I had seen all Berserk anime episodes. I really liked Vinland saga and it's fun with all the real characters involved and how true story is mixed with a bit of the authors fantasy. Also very nice drawings!

Even if they have a translation into our language: For example; I'm spanish, and if a guy comes from the USA and says his name is Jhon, I won't call him "Juan", even if that name has a translation in my language.
Even if that's not the exact same case of "Gatsu" or "Guts"(whatever), I "personally" prefer to keep the "original" japanese transcription...

Griffith had become dependent on Guts. Guts was Griffith's "strong arm". Enemies on the battlefield were as afraid of Guts as they were of him. So when Guts decides to go his own way, that ticked off Griffith. From his perspective, Guts was 'betraying' him.
It was very selfish of Griffith and it went against his creed, but as the series went along, you could see Griffith becoming more and more self-indulgent as he gained more power.

That isn't true. The word is norse "bärsärk" in Swedish means bear chemise and is similar in other nordic countries. It's mentioned in viking sagas and belived to be a rage as gift from Odin. There wasn't even really any berserkers in the anime either :(

Yeah read Vinland saga when I desperately needed something to fill the hole in my life that was left when I had seen all Berserk anime episodes. I really liked Vinland saga and it's fun with all the real characters involved and how true story is mixed with a bit of the authors fantasy. Also very nice drawings!

People have been comparing Gutts to Hiko from Kenshin's universe, I'll start off saying this; they're entirely different universes.
Now that's out the way, you have seen Hiko in the anime, but if you have honestly read and looked at the manga up to and past Volume 30, the shit Gutts does in this manga is beyond human, you couldn't classify Gutts as human after he gets the Berserker armour, he is the HellHound, and it'll take more than 500 Characters just to scratch the surface.

Yeah, but I personally prefer to use the word "Gatsu" when i refer to him, just to make the difference between the name of the character and the term "guts".
And anyways: When you're calling him "Guts", you're technically traducing the name, which is Gatsu, if you read it exactly from the japanese characters. So the two terms would be correct, but I prefer to keep the "original".

You didn't get my point... Let me explain... When we're referring to people's names, we don't translate them right? Even if they have a translation into our language: For example; I'm spanish, and if a guy comes from the USA and says his name is Jhon, I won't call him "Juan", even if that name has a translation in my language.
Even if that's not the exact same case of "Gatsu" or "Guts"(whatever), I "personally" prefer to keep the "original" japanese transcription...

P.S: I know the expression "to have the guts" or "to have guts", and i know it's quite probable that Miura named Gatsu that way because of this expressions (which fit perfectly with him).

@xantyleonhart Actually he is named Guts after the way his adoptive father found him: under a tree, with his mother hang while still pregnant with her stomach cut open. He was found lying in intestines, and was therefore named Guts.
Ok, it's not explicitely stated in the manga, but to me it's the most obvious reason.
