Photography Advice : Camera Settings for Sports Photography

.... i dont have an f2.8 .... i will soon but for now if i put mine on iso 6400 and a shutter speed of 1/320 its pretty good... Did you mean to say shutter speed at 1/1000 indoor... i tried but it was very dark.... could a flash help this any ?

She doesn't mention panning or that you use lower shutter speed the farther you are from the action, and raise it the close you are.
