  • I wonder if an operation to make the cat deaf would solve this problem.

  • @SDAG In addition to loud noises, sudden movements also cause the paralysis, like if they were to run or jump. They can only walk.

  • @anitaownzu T___T So sad.

  • See someone with the same condition at Myotonia Congenita: Its Not Just About the Fainting Goats

  • so cute

  • these cats dont last that long :/ so sad...

  • awwwwwwwww.... it looks like dead

  • this little kitty had myotonia congenita...

  • Wow. not cute.

  • That kitten is adorable :D Sad that it has that... fainting goat syndrome.. or what it's called..

  • dont let him climb,he can not correct his falls with Myotonia Congenita

  • nawwwwwwwwwww

  • :(

  • TTTTTTTTTTTTT ^ TTTTTTTTTTTT

  • Hahahahaah !!!

  • i liked when it went PLOP :D

  • Now that shit is funny

  • fainting goat :(

  • weird but cute

  • thanks, i noticed the fainting goat comments after i posted - i worked at a major university when finishing vet nurse school, (large & small animal), & worked most of my career in er's & referral hosp. i think i jumped the gun & went into auto-piolet, as if the kitten was in front of me at the er. lol. (not that the situation is funny.) so thank you. i think syncopal episodes, like this 1, is just on my mind b/c i went to the cardiology & neurology sessions at the last cont. ed. conf. thanks!

  • omg - i just aw thiss 4/2/11 - i am only a vet nurse & can not diagnose - but seriously, that kitten needs to get to a cardiologist or neurologist - seriously - that little kit needs an Rx to a specialty center or nearest university. really. i can't establish my horror when i just watched this. i hope this (& siblings?) are ok.

  • @scrambles2010 myotonia congenita, at least that is what its called in humans. Causes muscles to be continuously contracted after rapid movement instead of relaxing, not a brain or heart problem

  • This is great with 1911 mode on.

  • Of course its funny!!

Just cause its a disease doesn't mean it's not hilarious!

  • this is not funny, the kitten has a disease who paralizes the legs when it hears a loud sound, or something like this...

  • @sharpetahh it affects all the muscles, excluding the heart muscle.I have the disease,it's not fun.

  • @sharpetahh that is freaking hilarious!

  • @H0wTec NO

  • I WANT YOUR KITTAH

  • WTF HELL no! they have something tied to his back legs watch @ :06 as his legs behind to lock together. Now this could also be a medical paralyzing effect, but @ the girl hold on to one foot as the cat pulls away. Either its a string or it's like a cramp and it was the ladys way of pulling it out. idk please reply back and give me some info..i'm curious

  • @Darkdemonoflite its called fainting goat syndrom, at even the smallest movement the cat will lock up and fall. its not very common in cats but if you look up the videos of spike and charlie its better shown there. the paralyzation can last a few seconds, a minute, etc.

  • @Darkdemonoflite

    i think your right

if a cat who really has fainting goat

    it probably couldn't run

  • Where do you get these cats from all the videos that ive seen of these kittens has it . . its extrmely rare so how did you get 3 kittens with it?

  • @ALoveForOrcas Considering how many billions of cats there are, 3 cases is pretty rare. The real thing is, since the internet think it's cute, the video goes popular.

  • @Jeffrey3527 - i know but what im asking is where did u get them from a special place, strays ect . . its sad but cute but yet still sad again. poor babies:(

  • Very cute. Looks just like my cat whose name is also Petey.

  • poor kitten has fainting goat syndrome

  • Tainy Thud :D

  • Wow this was ages ago so leave it and move on with your life instead of causing argmemts?

  • this is too funny

  • @Falloutbloke its a med conditon, they can die from it. NOT FUNNY.

  • then slap them

  • @moomoocow526 fuck u

  • lol get them and swing them around till there tail falls off

  • poor kitten :(

  • and who says cats ALWAYS land on their feet!!!

  • @antipike Well, this kitten obviously does NOT having "FGS" (not the actual name for it people...). Even if he did, he would just get paralyzed for a second and be up again. Humans often get paralayzed permanently. So should they all be euthanized too?

  • awww, so cute.

  • A clumsy kitten stumbles and falls while running and people jump to assume it's FGS

All of my cats would run around and fall like this when they were kittens. I don't think any of them ever had FGS

  • cute ^わ^ノ

  • Not cool!

  • that doesnt really look like FGS, if you watched the vids with spike and charlie *rip =(*

they would instantly go stiff and be locked in position, when the kitteh runs his little back paws just stop functioning, and his upper body moves but the lower half doesnt when he falls. she holds his leg to help stay still so he can roll his body over, but i mean hes not my kittteh so idk what he has. lol just sayin. hes cute though VERy,,...cute. =)

  • @BBOYxMONSTER and, the owner said spike and charlie couldnt run or jump. this kitteh clearly is running lol then fails.

  • awwww.... i have three cats and i would be very sad if they had this. im sorry :(

  • This is fainting goat disese, you should really bring it to the vet!

  • :(

  • poor kitty :(

  • why the hell is that lady holding down the cats foot??????? 0:15

  • lol run petey run 0.0 cat falls

  • First thing that came to my mind was that these animals should have been put to sleep ... why keep them alive and suffering

  • @antipike basically because they don't suffer... i've read that it's not harmfull... it's something you can live with...

  • fainting goat syndrome

  • I'm not a cat person but... that was depressing :'(

  • did he died?

  • @edricknoel wow heartless much?

  • @edricknoel Fuck you you heartless bitch

  • @TheRuindragon get the fuck off your god damn period you fucking whiner!

  • @BossHossGT500 Look kid, I'm a man. And that's really mature insulting a natural function of a woman's body. That really low. Bitch.

  • @TheRuindragon So is disrespecting one's opinions. Fag.

  • @BossHossGT500 I'm not gay. obviously you are just an immature child.

  • @TheRuindragon yeah, whatever...

  • @TheRuindragon You win!

  • @MissMelGrace YOU ARE FUCKING HILARIOUS

  • It's myotonia congenita. Most likely to attack cats more often because the get shocked/surprised more often. It's nicknamed 'Fainting Goat' because it happens on goats too. Their muscles get constrained for a moment when shocked/surprised. That's why it stood still and fell. Because it can't do anything to move it for a moment. It's like you getting forced to pause for about 2-3 seconds.

  • oh no you kitteh Myotonia congenita...but the medicine will probably kill it faster than the disease...just hope he lives long enough for him to get medicine without side effects

  • That does look like Myotonia congenita. I would get Puss checked out.

  • Stop fainting them, maybe then they won't die of suffocation or cardiac arrest!

  • @chir0pter I'm not saying they shoulde induce those episodes, but when the slightest surprise or excitement causes it, it's hard to tell them to stop.

  • Thats adorable :D What a gorgeous cat!

  • Poor Charlie, Spike and Petey. All they ever want (or wanted) to do is (or was) sniff around and explore...

  • i lol'd.

  • @marymassacres thats well harsh what's your problem its a actual disease how would you feel if that happened to your pet would be heart broken if it died of that just falls so grow up!

  • @lottielammyman

Laughing is harsh now? Whoops, sorry. I didn't realizing laughing automatically implied I didn't feel bad. Really. I'm so sorry.

  • :( awww

  • Spuffyturtle, why at 0:15 are you holding his rear paw down?

  • is petey still alive.. i just noticed charlie and spike (9CC_9aFuEkA) died!

  • @andyrmcewan nearly cried, and man they were soo cute, they were like brothers.

  • @andyrmcewan i know i found charlie and spike hilarious but then i stopped laughing when i heard they died

  • Comment removed

  • This ain't the fainting goat thing because the kitten could run and it could move their legs lol

  • @TheWATERBOTTLE1999 yes it is you can tell the cat can barely run and its practically using both feet to run

  • oh mans kitties be so cute when little! =D

  • @Luna810 It's called sleeping goat syndrome or something like that when they get startled or to excited their muscles stiffen causing them to fall

  • There is something wrong with that kitten. That is not normal.

  • :( <3

  • That truly is fainting goat syndrome, and side-effects of the medicine can be more harmful to young kitten than the syndrome itself :(

So I hope that kitten will live long enough to be able to get medicine without side effects :)

  • That fall isn't a fall from clumsyness, his legs just stop working. Get him checked out.

  • I have a 6 weeks old kitten at home and it does fall down, but most certainly NOT like that. This kitten walks and runs funny too. You should most definitely take him to the vet...

  • no its not myotonia congenita. when he falls his legs dont stiffen. Its just a regular clumsy kitten. All kittens are like that

  • When my kittens started to run they always fell over just like that ,now there two years and there perfectly fine we nvr evr had any problems!! :)

  • armor lock kitty

  • It's soo tiny I remember mine like tt but now it's it's just fat

  • Why does the woman hold the kittens foot down?

  • Fucking idiots. It clearl fell. It lasts for more than a minute if it's myotonia congenita

and it got back up almost straight away. Plus she was holding it's leg. Fools.

  • @greenfox2005 m8, the average time they spent on the ground is 1 minute...

  • @greenfox2005

Dude, the cat still clearly has something similar, even if it isn't myotonia congenita. It clearly didn't fall, have you ever seen a kitten fall over? They don't suddenly spring to one side with their legs rigid.

  • @greenfox2005 That doesn't look "normal" at all. I would definitely take the kitten to the vet to get it checked out. Unless you are a trained veterinarian, no one here can diagnose, nor disspell, any serious condition. This is very concerning to watch and the kitten should be taken to a vet immediately. I have had many, many cats over the years, and that is not looking right. I'm concerned watching that video. :(

  • :( sad

  • Sad but cute and funny.

  • so cute and sad ;/

  • ALL PEOPLE TELLING THAT THIS IS NOT FGS,

GO GET SOME EDUCATION FUCKING REDNECK!!!!!!

  • Its called Fainting Goat disease

  • LOL to cue

  • me pone triste pochito los gatitos.. u.u

  • Yup! the defiantly Myotonia Congenita

  • Comment removed

  • @maaja13 ok, this is cute, but stop trying to be a smart arse, the none medical term is fainting goat or something, cats and many creatures can have it, its in the genes, ever seen a kitten fall like that randomly? yer the person held the foot down, but it didnt stop the fall. stopped the kitten making a complete jump back to its feet. dont ry and be smart just from watching a vid

  • oh this is very sad

  • It's fainting goat...

  • @Sashimi1995 no she doesnt

  • @ThegameonHD Oh yes, as you can see, her feet get hard and she falls down, very typical fainting goat.

  • @Sashimi1995 she tripped idiot.

  • @ThegameonHD Haha you are the idiot. The cat didn't trip, it fell/fainted.

  • @ThegameonHD that was no trip smart ass that is falling goat syndrome.. you can see it when they try to put the kitty back up because her feet are still locked.

  • @curiousfox7 Falling Goat Syndrome lasts for 30 seconds or more you twat. Look into the diease mroe champion.

  • @ThegameonHD no she didn't idiot. it fainted you fool!

  • @Sashimi1995 It fell over... Sheesh some people are idiots.

  • @ThegameonHD if you look exactly at it, you'd see that she fell into a paralysis. And it couldn't get up good again. You are the idiot here, not we who think that thi spoor thing has fainting goat.

  • @Sashimi1995 wow... Dude, its not even ayear old. when it fell, it was too weak to use the legs it fell on, so yeah, it was paralyzed...BECAUSE it fell... Do i have to say it simpler?

  • @ThegameonHD There is something definitely wrong with the kitten. It's not uncommon for cats to have neurological issues, even if it's not FGS. That's not normal, and a responsible pet owner would take their pet to the vet to at least get it checked out.

  • @kittypurrful There is nothing wrong with this kitten. It is young and curious. They fall like this all the time.

  • @ThegameonHD uhhh....kittypurrful is right.....its something that when the cat hears even the slightest sound and gets scared it has a severe muscle spasm...its called myotonia congenita and can be deadly...most cats dont live long with it....

  • @EllieTwilight Have you ever owned a baby cat? I dont think you have... I know what the syndrome is, im not an idiot. This is a typical baby cat. Once you buy one, you'll undtstand. This cat is fine. There is nothing wrong with that cat. The owner of this video has recieved SEVERAL emails form people wondering whether the cat has FGS or a related issue, and have been told that it DOES NOT suffer from any issues, and is a typical young cat.

  • @ThegameonHD actually i have fostered cats for 3 years and i am training to be a vet so yes i know what the fuck im talking about...maybe you're the one that needs the education....and how do you know that the person that posted this video isnt lying to you?.....i dont give two shits what you think considering all i was doing was telling you what you obviously didnt know....so get a lfe.....i feel sorry for any animals that you own.....

  • @EllieTwilight Ellie, I am not a training to work with animals, and if you arent lying that you are, i strongly suggest you look up on FGS some more. Watch your kittens fall over. Observe them. I dont know, it might help you gain a better understanding. And i find your language quite offensive. Definately not how a training vetenarian would speak. Please, i didnt come here to argue. I came here to help your viewers understand. Thanks

  • @ThegameonHD

well i think everyone on here can tell that you are not training to be a vet otherwise you would not be trying to start shit with everyone that has a different opinion than you......you truely need to get a life because you are not helping anyone by posting on any video.....

  • It had a stroke! It now needs a little cat wheelchair and poops in a little kittycolostomy bag, and will never be a tap dancer. Oh the tragedy...

  • lol what's sensoryperception's problem. kamikaze is right.

  • Its bullshit. The cat just falls like a lot of kittens do. If you look at about 14 secs on the video you will see that the girl who appears to be "helping" the kitten is in fact holding one of its back feet down. This gives the appearance that the kitten has stiff muscles from myotonia congenita. Still cute though.

  • @maaja13 Actually, that's interesting because I didn't notice that the girl was holding the kitten's leg down until I read your comment. That's a bit weird and not very nice of her to do that because the kitten was trying to get back up again. Also, I think it is just a normal, over-excited little kitten and that it doesn't seem to have the fainting goat syndrome, which a lot of people commenting here seem to think it does have. It just got over-excited when it ran around the corner!

  • that just looks so wrong... :(

  • Whazzat? I smell candy! Candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy *kersplat* FML.

  • I'm sorry...but your cat has myotonia congenita

  • @Emy514 no it doesnt

  • thats pretty damn cute

  • she dosent have that goat thing lol just like my kitten she ran and fell lol but shes fine lol and see how she was turning to the corner lol

  • she dosent have that goat thing lol just like my kitten she ran and fell lol but shes fine lol

  • @dellcat11 no i think that cat does have myotonia congenita, you could see that the cat started to stiffen up just before it fell.

  • this makes me so sad :(

  • Its suffers from The Fainting Goat syndrom

  • @19KamiKaze42 very correct! :)

  • @19KamiKaze42 Moron.

  • @SensoryPerception

Love you too, dumb ass faggot

  • @19KamiKaze42 no it doesnt

  • @ThegameonHD

GO fuck urself, brainless piece of shit

  • HHHHHHHHH FAIL CAT

  • You have to recharge the batteries man. i think they're somewhere behind it's neck.

  • Y'know i could imagine it wouldn't be a setback for the cat as long as it stays inside....Its weird, am i the only one who thinks its kinda cute? y'know sicknesses aside
