Using some sort of hair wax or pomade will help with keeping the hair in place so there isn't and fly aways! It also makes it look more put together.

I have medium length hair. I love victory rolls, but nI can't seem to get them right. Would the roller trick work on my hair too? I have longer layers in the back and shorter ones that frame my face. I try to do the rolls and they always fall apart or they just wont roll right. I love the way it looks when they are done right. Can someone give me some pointers?! PLEASE!!!

man you totally messed up, but then againg its a bitch to make them perfect. I usually use a curling iron w/ hairspray to make the curl stay rolled, then pin it in.

You don't need a reason, girl!! Just sport it! I do victory rolls quite often. A couple months ago I just wore them out to dinner to Applebee's with my husband. Nothing fancy I just had to show off the 'do. ;) I agree it's SUCH a fun hairstyle and I get tons of compliments on it always. My sister hates them though. She calls them handlebars. lol. hmmm...maybe try it with a thinner curler that way you can cover the roller easier than if it were larger...or tease the roots a bit to give it a fuller look...

I tried to do my hair... bought all the same supplies (pink foam rollers etc) but I can't seem to get my hair to stay, ( my hair is really long... almost to my waist) Do you have any suggestions to help??????

I would say try to put more product in your hair to stiffen it up. I know it's a pain...get LOADS of bobby pins...you might have to put bobby pins in in the dozens b/c of your thickness. I would think it would work easier with thick hair, but it might also depend on where you are pinning it.
