well you could in theory but im not sure exacly the parts and how much but all it is, is a mix of ammonium nitrate which is a high-nitrogen fertilizer and aluminum powder. now i REALLY REALLY REALLY dont recommend making it because if something does get screwed up im not liable for any injuries. remember though this stuff isnt like a regular explosive. you cant light it on fire or hit it with a hammer it WILL NOT detonate. just better buy the stuff and enjoy it that way.

I find that things like pumpkins, watermelons, squash, and any other type of large fruit or organic matter is the best to destroy. Not nasty shrapnel (at the most you'll get a lil pumpkin meat) and ya dont gotta worry about clean up! Plus its cheaper and you can get UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL!!!! (we usually do about 40yds =D)

As I have said many times so far, if you like Tannerite you will LOVE Mountain Thunder. Has a higher expansion rate, its less expensive, and more versatile in that the rifle needs to only have a velocity of 2200 fps.

Note, be VERY careful about placing Tannerite -inside- something like the toilet. Good possibility of high speed debris coming back at you. Ask me how I know. 100 yards is not necessarily a safe distance. Have blown 2 lawnmowers, 1 motorcycle, numerous computers. Twice have had spectators hit with pieces, no injuries. Keep yer distance...
