  • "oh, that's right....its bitter."

    Looks worse than that.xD bleh~

  • AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW SO SWEEEEEEEEEEEET XD

  • marrying a person you can't see....thats some serious love lol

  • This has been my all time favorite episode so far! Not only was the ending happy, but it was adorable!

  • that was a nice ending ^_^

  • Ginko reminds me of my doctor...intelligent butthead always giving me nasty cold medicine. >.<

  • Two people had bitter soup.

  • a story not to sad for a change :D but still nice and affective as always!! ;)

  • After 19 episodes, finally a happy ending

  • I thought for shore that it was going to have a sad ending I am happy it worked out the way it did,

  • so romantic and perfect and aawwwww :')

  • i love this anime! and the music is so soothing and comforting, in a way. :)

  • No more medicine Ginko... You trick everyone LOL... But you got tricked to as well...Fuki was a Ghost lmao this was the cutest and sweetest episode ever... Funimation your the best Hands Down...

  • Fuki sounds like such a sweet person...

  • i love the names of the episode like [string form the shy ]

  • The most satisfying ending ever!!!

  • "Oh, I forgot it's bitter"

"Oh, I forgot you could see it in your condition."

A little forgetful, aren't ya Ginko? XD

  • i just noticed...almost ALL the characters look the same.O.o

  • As a grown woman, will I sound strange for saying that I think Fuki is adorable? Her name sounds like something you'd name a teddy bear, and they could not have picked a better person to dub her voice.

  • I love how Ginko reacts when people drink the bitter tea.

  • Hands down my favorite episode. Love a person for who they are, not for what you think they will become or despite others opinion about him/her. You rarely see this type of message anywhere nowadays.

  • I've heard, for those that are curious, that it's supposed to be set around the time that Japan was getting some influence from outside but was still mostly a closed nation that retained a lot of its old ways, or so some of the author's notes and extras in the manga say.

  • This series is very well done, it is artistic, thought-provoking and at the same time it is not childish or perverted. mushi-shi is a rare type of anime I would like to see more of.

  • Oh, she WOULD go and tug on the strange white string dangling down from nowhere

  • this ep is one of my favorites. i thought the guy's gonna be all alone talking to himself the rest of his life, but then poof comes along fuki and they live happilly ever afer. one out of very few eps that has a happy ending. NICE!

  • any else ever notice that ginko wears buttoned present day clothing

  • @OuterRing Yea, I'm always wondering what the era is of the setting of this series. I'm assuming it's around the 1800's from the tools (such as that primitive telescope in this episode).

  • i love this ep <3

  • HUH!

    I've noticed something.

In almost every episode, The people that Ginko Treat's are always asking the same Question, and having the Same Reply from Ginko.

Ginko: Its a...(Any kind of Mushi)

    Person:MUSHI?!

    Ginko: Yes; Mushi....

  • @Sei0124 That's a common speech pattern for Asian cultures. It indicates that you heard what the other person said and wish for them to continue talking.

  • OMG! For once, a happy ending! :-D

  • "Oh. That's right. It's bitter." Even funnier the second time.

  • There are so many moshi that it's a wonder how so little people are able to see them.

And with so many dangerous types I wonder how many people die by moshi and don't even know.

But, it is the feudal era so I guess whole villages can be destroyed without a second glance.

No need to worry about the crazy, blind, forgetful, hallucinating, deaf, vanishing victims of the moshi too much.

  • *mushi not moshi. just thought you should know since, you know, being this far into the series and you are misspelling the mushi word.

  • lol Ginko never tells how the medicine tastes like before the person drinks it XD

  • The art in this show is amazing.

  • anybody notice how this show is basically supernatural "House"?

  • Lol, I picked up on that, too, though Ginko isn't such a cranky old curmudgeon as House is. X3

  • not really,

Ginko isn't neccesarily some cranky old dude that takes pain killers and takes the most drastic, stuck-up, go fck-urself measures to get things done

he's very calm, very collected, and always chooses the most sensible answer that he can find

he treads the middle ground, between mushi and humans and is not drastic in any means

in fact that's what it means to be a good mushi master, to go around healing without throwing things off balance

  • relax dude, It was just an observation

  • I know, and I am

was just giving you my observation in return

  • pissed me of how character looks the same!

    but awesome show ^^

  • well the characters look the same because the director/artist wanted to create the scene to be much more realistic

IE. there are no crazy purple, green or red haired people in feudal Japan

but I don't seem to mind it haha

  • 7:09 "oh that's right it's bitter" LOL

  • Beautiful Episode. Simply Beautiful. This show is so different. I love it.

  • I find it amusing how he says the people who see mushi are very rare....but...during most of the episodes...there's someone who can. xD

  • it could be to do with his powers, maybe he draws in or is drawn to people like this.

  • i really love this theme song. wonder who the artist is, if anyone knows please tell me on my profile.

  • yay. a FULLY happy ending. I think the first such in the entire series.

  • wow he must have truly loved her for her to appear again, wow what a great episode.

  • Awsome screensaver moment! (09:15) Damn it! I wish they would make more episodes of this show. Ginko is so handsome!

  • Amazing ending <3

  • you must have a slow connection.

  • You do realize you're watching an entire series in HD complements of FUNimation, don't you? If it's slow, maybe go buy the series, watch it how you like it, and support FUNimation at the same time.

  • what a come back

  • Ok, Mom

  • @jjmcowboy 480 pi isn't HD, its just over half of part of HD. O: and its pretty fast, not the least bit slow.

  • @jjmcowboy YAY FOR FUNIMAATION AND BOO FOR ILLEGAL DOWN LOADS!!!

  • @jjmcowboy 480p isn't HD just saying.

  • @jjmcowboy Since when is 480p HD?

  • @jjmcowboy true. i don't mind it being slow. but in fact it's not even that slow often. ;) even i watched a few of these on Netflix and it's just as calm and the same long story.. but they are all 24 minutes long. it's calming more than slow. it's great. i'm saying other people think these are slow but they aren't. Ty FUNimation!

  • 01:28
