i went to a veterans day assembly yesterday and they had 10 brave men and women who have served, when they asked for questions i was the first to stand, and i thanked eachone of them for their service and i felt so much pride and honor being able to think these men that it actually brought tears to my eyes, and everyone of these soldiers looked at me like they understood and afterwords they grabbed me and shook my hand thanking me, greatest day of my life, can't wait to be among them

I, a high school student, decorated my pickup for veterans day. I was proud to honor those who served for us. At school, my pickup was tagged and all the flags ripped off and the stickers and writing that said Honor Our Veterans were destroyed. Some people have no respect for those who sacrifice the greatest for complete strangers.

thank you for your service.im from a family with 3 veterans.my late great grampa who served in world war 2 as an army engineer.he was part of the Manhattan project.my moms dad who was in the army.and my stepdad.he has served 3 tours in vietnam,one in the gulf war.he has over 20 medals and accommodations.god bless our troops!!!!!!
