Thank God for food stamps, because here in Lexington Ky, a job is hard to find. Gas is too expensive to drive clear across town to a job, sitting in traffic burns gas, gas here is 3.489/gal, and people are so loaded with DEBT....gas credit cards.....spending money they don't have. American is screwed if someone doesn't fix the economy. I've applied to about 30 jobs in the last year....one interview....top 2...younger person was hired. Lots of hiring discrimination going on in America.
Oh, JP Morgan is just providing a public service. You guys are so suspicious! They are probably doing this for nothing. OH, wait, little green monkeys are flying out my butt.
SO......SINCE JP MORGAN PROFITS FROM THE NUMBER OF TRANSACTIONS BEING MADE WITH THE NEW FOOD STAMP CARD, THE OBVIOUS CONFLICT OF INTEREST IS : THE MORE PEOPLE ON THE FOOD STAMP SYSTEM, THE MORE MONEY JPMORGAN MAKES.
@liarsmakemesick People with whole brains don't know what is going on if the information has not gotten to them. No need to slight anybody with the exception of those who try to conceal the truth.
While it is clear to me that, Mr. Patton does not look great on camera, what he is SAYING is cause for concern. The number of people receiving Food Stamps is increasing. When the unemployment benefits end, and people cannot find jobs, how will they feed their families. This economic nightmare has made paupers out of many of us.
I think id rather starve than use food stamps. How embarrasing. Too many people in this country think its ok to live like that. They need an attitude adjustment.
That explains why there are so many fees to get money out of the welfare benefits debit card. They're pretty high fees, so, some recipients like to "cash out" once and save on the fees.
Why is JPM doing this? Maybe JPM should pay back the billions they've bilked from taxpayers and give them their dammed money back. JPM is capitalizing on this. they'll probably issue 75% interest credit cards to these people as well.
Why does anyone listen to what a Wall Street mafia is telling the public?
Those war profiteers are LIARS, PLUNDERERS &TRAITORS.
They lie to steal trillions of dollars. They lie so that millions of people will be slaughtered. They lie to enslave the survivors of invasions. They lie to finance War of Aggression. They lie to finance the international narcotics traffic by CIA & MI6.
Wall Street out to be emptied-out, and the contents dumped into prisons.
@centurion180ad they're in survival mode, but you forgot intimidation, blackmail, psyops, propaganda,poisoning/soft kill on we the people, depopulation by war, disease, & famine, land grabs, blah blah blah, but unemployment, climategate, healthcare, and jesse ventura are waking people up, after jfk, mlk, princess di, 9/11, etc..
Let me count the ways, all money is loaned into existence, JPM is a primary dealer and there for is loaning the money to our bankrupt government (us), they hold the bonds and issue the cards, the bonds they have are marked up and sold onto investors for a fee or held, they also have the data on where the sales are occurring with the cards which gives them an advantage of the shape of various retail sector, this can be used for the prop desk for trading and then sold as analysis for a fee
JP Morgan must get a large tax rebate for giving out such an infinitesimal amount of their profits to the poor in comparison to what they paid out to their executives in bonuses.
Well the public has eveything to worry about since it was around 9 to 12 million people that could not be accounted for in the census that was carried out after the great depression.
These banker vampires destroyed the financial markets that left millions of people on food stamps. It's not suprising to find out now that they run these social schemes and profit from the underlining credit transactions. If the Robinson Crusoe story was re-written by today's standards, I'm sure even on a remote, isolated island in the middle of nowhere there would be a J P Morgan rep lurking around to getting a percentage share of the coconut milk you laboured for.
When people can't even afford to FEED themselves, that's not a "recovery" it is a decline... America's standard of living is going down, don't let the media morons tell you different.
Food Stamps = Soup Lines of the 1930's. U6 unemployment in the US is approaching 17% and rising. The jobs were shipped overseas and are not coming back.
That phrase stuck in my brain as well. The banksters will benefit in any economy good or bad. That is the tragedy of our current system where the banks control everything. People really need to wake up, but most don't realize the extent of there slavery.
you have been the creditor to the banking system all along. they are only credit brokers and credit factories working off our signature..
they hold the legal title to our body in TRUST ...we are the beneficiary ...we need to instruct them as the GRANTOR of the TRUST to set off any liability that arises.when the PERSON does commerce.
I admit the Venus Project is hard to accept given it has never happened before but the only tyranny is the BANKING SYSTEM. You will always have debt and corruption as long as you have a banking system where money owned is always greater than money owned, someone has to go bankrupt and be at the bottom. Capitalism is in itself unfair and unethical, dont hold your breath the "corporatism" will end.
TVP is a solution, not a doctrine. You can use the information or you can continue to fight for what many think they own. Explore it's possibilities and then analyze what you've read or seen. Thanks for the advice. The governments of the world today are run by businessmen, lawyers and
military men likely three of the most useless specializations we have. When we understand that our problems on this planet are technical , we then see that if any group of people were to be considered as qualified to make decisions about anything , they would naturally be technically and thus objectively focused not politically motivated . Politics is a monetary creation and they are corrupt.
Their is no politics or money, therefore nothing to corrupt. There are many out there who would say that what I'm describing here, that is the development of a Resource-Based Global Economy , would never happen. They would typically cite human nature, the power elite or erroneous technical opinions in their defense. This cynicism has no support in
view of humanitys technical and social development throughout history.
We have come from a world of extreme superstition, abject slavery and extreme racism and social prejudice, to a slowly emerging world of race equality, scientific ingenuity and emerging values that desire to see humanity benefit as a whole.

I beg to differ because my wife was with a guy who made $300,000 a year in the US. She chose me over him. No, an ex girlfriend of mine chose a guy who made more than me. JP Morgan Chase is set to defy calls for constraint over bankers' bonuses this week when it delivers an expected $29bn (£18bn) compensation pot for its executives.
I think it's kind of incredible that a "lone gunman" or a dissident group hasn't attacked one of the new york offices of one of these financial terrorists (e.g. Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, etc.). It really shows you how completely ignorant and misguided Americans are. I'm sure the average American has absolutely NO CLUE which groups or institutions are truly to blame. Everyone points their finger to the President. False left-right paradigm protecting the true problem.
Why this is a well-intentioned effort, once you delve past the surface, it's a risky proposition. The TBTF banksters have the full faith and protection of the U.S. government; the smaller community banks do not. They seemingly enact legislation every other month to "shore up and protect" the TBTFs...why? When the next shoe drops, it will be the little banks that shut their doors, not the big boys. You're better off recapitalizing into gold and ETFs than go to the community banks.
Does anyone else think that the J.P. Morgan douche was trying his best to hold back a cartoonish super-villan laugh? ...Oh and thank you soooooo much for cashing in on the poverty you've help create, er, I mean, providing such an important social function. Bankers are such wonderful generous people.
Listen to the full Max Keiser radio show from his channel here at yt. It is fucking rediculous how JP Morgan is going to proffit. Esentially "Indentured Servitude" is what is coming next due to debt.
A more direct way is that JPM acts as the recipient of the EBT, and since it is a "debited" transaction, acquires the processing fee(s) associated with it. The Wal-Marts, Safe-Ways, etc. still get paid, and really create a sale from someone whom ordinarily wouldn't have made a purchase.
The problem is that these banks are making obscene profits on every single aspect of our culture, including foodstamps. I call the banks cut of everything the "Devil's Tithe".
The Independent (UK newspaper) ran the foodstamp story on 1st April '08. Unfortunately they illustrated it with a photo of a line where a guy was wearing a ipod! The comment section had lots of idiot Americans saying how the economy was doing fine, it was anti-american European socialist envy blah blah blah. The Fed later revealed that the recession began in December '07!
hahahahaha I wonder when Americans will revolt. Maybe living in a tent city, living on food stamps and working for mega corp mart just so they can pay their health insurance is not enough. Rahm will ask them next for 5 years of duty to the state in military so oligarchs can conquer more countries.
@jaba987 The Banks and the Oligarchy are investing heavily in prisons, police, those fucking cameras, and making a killing BECAUSE they are expecting a Revolution.
According to JP Morgan's own senior economist unemployment is bottoming,so food stamps days should be numbered.Funny how Mr Paton has said a lot and not answered any questions.
@justjacqueline2004 Food stamps are going to be the new currancy amongs the peasantry. No way is unemployment bottoming. The proffits in the food stamp business are enourmous for the issuer.
indentured servant currency. The last step will be renaming it from food stamps to something like 'lifestyle improvement supplements' and stigma is gone and everyone is happy!
so its good to make people dependent on food stamps... the USA is screwed big time... i think its time for revolution or move to india or chine if they'll even let us go there.
Its a good system to get people out of the stores, which will not help the economy, and move the people into food lines...its a start to conditioning the masses...its only going to get worse... and that by design. I wonder how many people will HAVE to get into line this year.
I've been hearing a lot of this stuff about Move Your Money. It's a nice sentiment and all.. but the central banking system is a closed loop. All of the banks are essentially one bank. Sorry to rain on anybody's hope parade, but it isn't going to change a thing.
It is part of the plan honey. How does a gov't do a take over? They need to bring you financially to your knees so you can need them then you are more apt to give up your freedom and your liberty. Give them up and your doomed.
Thumbs up! Yes, and if you bank PLEASE transfer your accounts from the big parasitic banks into local state chartered community banks and credit unions that reinvest into your community.
Excellent -- Please ask others to consider this too. Believe it or not I am trying to convince a TELLER WORKING AT MY LOCAL HOME SAVINGS BANK to switch from B of A to the bank where she works. When will Americans wake up?
Now you know who pays for your suffering by returning you the opportunity to go out an get all that soft kill weaponized food to help you along in getting that early death certificate.
hey what do you guys expect it is capitalism , the banks are going by the books of capitalist system , more profits year after year capitalize on everything even suffering and hunger , hunger jails healthcare all become commodities to make money off , do not you get it yet that it is the game that is wrong ...Capitalism have failed big time , it was never meant to bring justice or wealth in the first place except for the few elite who started this game thousands of years ago
Youre confusing capitalism with corporatism. In capitalism poor men can become rich and rich men poor and theres many examples of this. However in corporatism its the corporations that write the laws and influence/control government.
Adam Smith often quoted as the father of capitalism along with other liberals complained and wrote about merchantism and how it was destroying society.
Corporatism is this mordern form. Dont mistake the two.
there is no too big to fail in real capitalism, if you fail you fail! no bailout. this is Socialism for the rich and capitalism for everyone else. We are dealing with monopolists who have captured the government.
Please learn what capitalism is all about. We don't really have a capitalistic system in place. We have corporatism. Big difference is there is no real competition. The big boys control the system and even win when the economy goes bust. They can get corporate welfare. The small businessman gets crushed because they have made the rules. Please understand the difference. You will never live free if you allow this system or socialism to take root. Quit buying from them and shop locally.
to hooverdog1957- i totally agree with u. The USA is no longer a capitalistic nation anymore. Country like China and India, Mexico, Argentina are 100% more capitalistic then the USA.
JP is making HUGE profits on this.. instead of that money being used for further societal benefit, it is sucked up into corporate greed which only exacerbates the underlying problems which creates more unemployment which yields even further profit. unreal, yet typical.

I'll bet JP Morgan makes a killing trading food stamp derivatives and double charging the taxpayer

Listen to the full Max Keiser radio show from his channel here at yt. It is fucking rediculous how JP Morgan is going to proffit. Esentially "Indentured Servitude" is what is coming next due to debt.
spinalfluidontap 2 years ago 2
how do banks profit from issuing food stamps? I'm still not clear on this....
gambit1357 2 years ago
One indirect way is that even higher level of treasuries are printed to sustain the program. Guess where these monies go?
grandmarkai 2 years ago 2

No sound money, means no food, no housing as proven.
The big problem here is the US dollar has been counterfeit gold since 1971. (Nixon a crook ends sound money)
Full International co-operation on fraud and racketeering.
Ron Paul the fiat money standard that started in 1971 has now ended in 2008. They'll try to re-inflate the bubble but this time it won't work.
Its like have the Zimbabwe dollar as world reserve for 40 years. Ends real bad...
Either bring back sound money or die.

hahahahaha I wonder when Americans will revolt. Maybe living in a tent city, living on food stamps and working for mega corp mart just so they can pay their health insurance is not enough. Rahm will ask them next for 5 years of duty to the state in military so oligarchs can conquer more countries.

According to JP Morgan's own senior economist unemployment is bottoming,so food stamps days should be numbered.Funny how Mr Paton has said a lot and not answered any questions.
justjacqueline2004 2 years ago 3
@justjacqueline2004 Food stamps are going to be the new currancy amongs the peasantry. No way is unemployment bottoming. The proffits in the food stamp business are enourmous for the issuer.
spinalfluidontap 2 years ago 2
indentured servant currency. The last step will be renaming it from food stamps to something like 'lifestyle improvement supplements' and stigma is gone and everyone is happy!
jaba987 2 years ago
so its good to make people dependent on food stamps... the USA is screwed big time... i think its time for revolution or move to india or chine if they'll even let us go there.

Thumbs up! Yes, and if you bank PLEASE transfer your accounts from the big parasitic banks into local state chartered community banks and credit unions that reinvest into your community.

hey what do you guys expect it is capitalism , the banks are going by the books of capitalist system , more profits year after year capitalize on everything even suffering and hunger , hunger jails healthcare all become commodities to make money off , do not you get it yet that it is the game that is wrong ...Capitalism have failed big time , it was never meant to bring justice or wealth in the first place except for the few elite who started this game thousands of years ago
TechTVChannel 2 years ago
Youre confusing capitalism with corporatism. In capitalism poor men can become rich and rich men poor and theres many examples of this. However in corporatism its the corporations that write the laws and influence/control government.
Adam Smith often quoted as the father of capitalism along with other liberals complained and wrote about merchantism and how it was destroying society.
Corporatism is this mordern form. Dont mistake the two.

there is no too big to fail in real capitalism, if you fail you fail! no bailout. this is Socialism for the rich and capitalism for everyone else. We are dealing with monopolists who have captured the government.
jaba987 2 years ago 2
Please learn what capitalism is all about. We don't really have a capitalistic system in place. We have corporatism. Big difference is there is no real competition. The big boys control the system and even win when the economy goes bust. They can get corporate welfare. The small businessman gets crushed because they have made the rules. Please understand the difference. You will never live free if you allow this system or socialism to take root. Quit buying from them and shop locally.
hooverdog1957 2 years ago 4
to hooverdog1957- i totally agree with u.

Thumbs up! Yes, and charities like United way skim millions. Example 2003 pay for Charity CEOs:
Red Cross - $468,599
United Way - $468,599
compared to:
Salvation Army National Commander - $94,000 (including house and car)
Who are weathly America's really donating money to?
