@Judah900 JoJo is an American singer/actress, born in 1990. Her real name is Joanna Levesque and she'll be 21 years old in Dec. 2011. She has for instance starred in movies such as "Aquamarine" and "RV", and she has released two albums. She was offered her first record deal at 8 years old, but chose not to release her first album until she was 13. She has several hit songs, including the popular "Too Little Too Late". Her third album will release in 2012. This clip is from when she was about 6.
@Page1944 JoJo is a singer and actress. She has hits songs Like Leave(Get out) and Too little too late. She played it three movies. Aquamarine, Confessions of a true hollywood starlet and RV
i agree with some of the people below. if you sat down with a kid, some of the things that come out of their mouths.. you can really be gobsmacked! i have a just turn 4 year old sister like family friend.. some of the things that she says you would think a 40 year old is saying and she is so comically timed, it not even funny. and i have a 11 year old god sister.. she is the biggest smart arse and i am taken aback sometimes of what comes out of her mouth.
for the people who think stuff like this is fake try talking to a kid ask them questions you will trip out at the answers you'll get back and it is true that kids say the darndest things
@Foamylover18 Actually, Jojo is the singer of songs such as "How to touch a girl" and "little too late." The person you are thinking of is Fefe Dobson.
Some kids are exceptionally "grown-up" at a young age. haha
My parents got into arguments about trying to change me to be less serious, because my mom had to tell me to lighten up and be a kid from when I was like 3 or 4. It worked...to some extent. XD
19. I'm a Business/Psychology double major with an intense interest in philosophy (especially epistemology and metaphysics, if you know what those are), and who appreciates it when people express the capacity to look at a profile before making an unnecessarily condescending comment.
Well, it was a little jab. Of course I knew you weren't 12.
My initial comment though was an allusion at the fact that THERE IS SOMETHING VERY WRONG with these kids. You can study all you want, but books & academic degrees in psychology do not confer the ability to discern these things. Most people do not WANT to see it.
In my book these kids are ABUSED kids.
Seems quite a number of people have picked up on this although admittedly, the majority is not an argument.
I see your argument. There are definitely cases in which children mature faster in response to an abusive environment (I've counseled teenagers who this happened to).
However, my personality and those of some very healthy and loved children I have spent time with would have led people to the same conclusion.
Sometimes children take after their parent's behaviors, sometimes after their genes.
Abuse is a rude and dangerous accusation to make without substantial evidence.
I realize that, which is why I first put it in a veiled fashion.
Asking for "evidence" for these things is EQUALLY dangerous since it is well known it's a social taboo & these things go WILDLY unreported, not to mention the victim might be in complete denial &/or have severe memory issues as to specific events.
I'm not obsessing about this because personally oncerned in some way. I just find it blatantly visible...
These kids aren't kids. They're programmed like animals in a circus -obviously through abuse- & the people (audience) NOT seeing it COMPOUNDS their isolation.
I think accusing individuals of it too easily is indeed irreponsible. However, NOT seeing the obvious equally is. There's something VERY wrong with these kids and if you are into psychology, I suggest you re-observe them rather than waiting for evidence that will simply not come your way...
It may seem common sense, but it is has been shown that once an impression or attitude is formed, an individual will begin to collect information to support the new bias.
(For example, a person who believes women to be inferior to men will notice any "confirming" evidence in their observations).
I could "observe" any number of causes into these children's behavior.
To immediately assume abuse as the primary cause is not only biased, but completely uncalled for.
"I could "observe" any number of causes into these children's behavior."
"To immediately assume abuse as the primary cause is not only biased"
You are obviously in the ubiquitous "scientific" mindframe of trusting ONLY authoritatively validated, established fact, when such "facts" have simply not been established in a case such as this & a massive social bias exists.
I'm not "immediately assuming".
I'm relying on observation, human discernment, common sense...
I immediately grant you that there IS NO authority confirming or invalidating my contention, and no peer-reviewed paper exists establishing wether or not my observation is correct. Therefore my contention isn't "scientific" & consequently apparently worthless/meaningless to you.
I quite understand.
However, you will NEVER understand anything about the human mind or life in general if you exclusively rely on an authoritative body of OUTER "knowledge" and...
...exclude -as science does- the observer from the equation, as well as the understanding of your own mind, & the relevance & interpretation of YOUR OWN discernment.
Indeed, discernment can be flawed & there is no way of establishing the veracity of my observation. Sensitive and alert people will be able to spot it pretty easily though.
And all I am saying is that I have personally witnessed similar behavior in non-abused children.
I am not saying you're wrong, but I am saying that, by observation, experience, and simple logic, your conclusion is not necessarily the only answer or even the most likely. Can I estimate a probability for your answer? Certainly not.
I would propose that if you had been born with my personality you would understand, but we all have our inborn biases--I cannot change yours.
Note that I am not even inferring that you are wrong--only that my own experience with children suggests other answers. I am just as biased as you are in this case, and my personal experience demands that I supply the alternative that I recognize, regardless of how biased against it you may be.
I do not hope to eliminate the observer from the equation so much as I hope to allow you a broader base of experience than your own life alone can offer--abuse is not the only answer
@suddenlyitsobvious I think it is the thing with children, so uninhibited...we should let our inner child through sometimes and be daring...it is as 'one grows up' that one learns certain unprofitable insecurities...
