  • some great inforamtion here thanks

  • brilliant video

  • Very nice work on the detailed structure in particular with a bright crowning ring and some gaseous effects this animation will be spot on.

  • thats pretty sweet man. WOuld you mind coming over to my solar astronomers forum at solarchat.natca.net and posting a couple of your videos? We really like creative sun stuff.. (Stephen)

  • green rasengan :D

  • First destructive solar flare was recorded in 1859. Telegraph poles were on fire and telegraph network were down. After careful study, next event was already foreseen with 90% life wipe out but Scientists coded the actual date in Religious way to prevent people from panicking (late 19th century). Micheal the Archangel was the key where he defeated Satan and save the Earth from burning in Hell. 2012 - 1859 = 153.

Search 153 that relates "Micheal the Archangel" in Google. You'll be surprised.

  • Yaknow what this reminds me of? MY BALLS WHILE HAVING SEX THOSE THINGS ARE ON FIRE ;)

  • looks scaringly similar to pete draper's stuff

  • ORANGE JUICE!!!

  • thats hot

  • I cried through the whole movie.

  • GRAN

  • 3ds? nintendo 3ds hologram?

  • how to you make this?

  • how long did it take to make and then render?

  • would be nice if it had a little bit of rotation

  • Great job!

  • That really looks cool. Would be nice in sci-Fi Games to have Suns that actually look like ones...just like your animation!

  • 2012 in a nutshell.

  • image chuck norris farting

  • u gotta show me how to do that!!! im a flash expert but i know 3ds too!!

  • Goku does it better.

  • @frandy222 Solar kamehameha

  • @frandy222 lol I agree

  • Good work bro! Now it just needs some granulation and to rotate.

  • cool.

knida looks like the sun i made:

    watch?v=7ZCjj6Tcpy8

  • cool

  • whats is the materal you put on the sun

  • and it hasnt happened yet.

  • @courtmc202 yes it has on sunday

  • 2010 August 3rd & 4th Solar Flares tsunami's and much more tonight. and the news is not going to even tell you.. but our scientists are trying to warn people tonight by secrets emailing contact.

  • Nice !

  • Anyone who dislikes are jealous

  • OMG PLEASE SHOW ME HOW 0_0

  • Thanks for the great solar vid! Never seen one quite like this one. There is breaking news about a turbulent interstellar energy cloud that our sun is starting to pass through which is also. No doubt this is why NASA's 2012 solar storm warning telling the world population to get ready for a once in a life time solar storm, as the sun is about to become very violent. Full story and links found in my channel description. Also Google: Solar Storm Warning 2012

  • @SolarStormWarning You would be surprised at how many people are unaware of this solar storm warning. Initialy issued in 2006...I was unaware of this warning until late 2008. Other than being occasionally mentioned on FoxNews, you just do not hear about it in the main stream media. Gee I wonder why??

  • the flares look like moving streams of particles, while in reality they seem to be not moving (actually they're just so fast you can't distinguish the movement), but more like some kind of waves or arc-discharges

  • Please make a tutorial for this, I beg you!

  • How did you even get it looking realistic like that ?

  • You need to make the sun rotate and the granules much smaller, and have them oscillate, and add some twirling prominences off of the limbs. Not bad, though.

  • Sexy! And it's cuming too! xD jk but no really, it's awesome!

  • i cant find tutotial how to make sun like this ,,,

  • Yeah I like the flares.

  • it looks like a big red ball of magma/lava anyway good work

  • Make it rotate, and also make some light shifting in the solar surface...

    pretty damn good though

  • very well done

  • outstanding! I guess liquids are next for me!

  • THAT'S VERY HOT!!!1

  • could i have this file

  • could i have the file

  • could i have the file

  • Wow that looks strikingly real.

  • Holy crap that's pretty damn good!

  • really nice work, i've been trying to create a close up star my self but no where near as good as this. my only critism is the particle speed, i would slow down the flares to make the sun seem bigger

  • never used 3dsmax, but it'd be cool to morph the surface too.

  • used particle flow right, fumeFX??

  • very nice

  • Nice work :)
