@raidersfan00 that's exactly the point - he's doing it with no gear. many people can climb that if they had the confidence that they'll be fine. but this guy has the confidence even though he doesn't have any special gear. that's the difficulty of it- the mental strength. not the fact that the surface is an easy climb. alain robert climbs buildings without gear. that's even more daring =]

The International Federation of Sports Climbing (IFSC) are reporting that they have been given provisional recognition by the International Olympic Committee(IOC). This paves the way for the possibility of Competition Climbing in the Olympics. Although I wouldnt hold my breath since it doesnt look like it will be included until the 2020 games since the format of the games are decided 7years before they even start. That doesnt leave much time to meet all the rnts for the 2016 Games
