  • FAKE!

  • STOP COPING OTHER BANDS

  • YES! This is the Canned Heat we all know and love. In 40 years....shit happens, man.

  • This is not Canned Heat :(

  • Canned Heat WAS Alan Wilson and Bob Hite, with them trying to keep Henry Vestine "under control"

I just do not understand why these guys bother they should look at "On the Road Again" from the original Woodstock and take a musical lesson from that which is just incredible to watch and still looks good 40+ years later

  • Sorry, but Canned Heat is not Canned Heat without Alan and Bob the Bear. Alan Wilson was from another planet, a rare musical genius.

  • lmao, its like their last performance before theyre getting killed

  • 2:42 - screw you guys, im going home

  • I've heard worse, but I can't recall when.

  • That is Fio, Richard T, Larry Taylor, Harvey Mandel

  • @GUITARDALI

Not quite. Fito, Larry, Harvey and Dale Spalding (vocals) with Greg Kage (bass) and Barry Levenson (guitar). "Richard T" has never been a member of Canned Heat. Maybe you mean James T, but he quit the band and relocated to Australia in the mid 90s.

  • can't undestand why the original drummer Fito de la Parra isn't present here. he's still around

  • I don't know if or how many of the original members are present at this performance - sure can't recognise any of them - but to me this is a poor reproduction of the spirit packed in the original Canned Heat performances.

    (did someone say Country Joe?)

  • It is indeed an afterthought that Larry Taylor, the band`s original bassplayer, comes off as the best and only relevant new addition on Heat`s guitar side(with the possible exception of James Shane 1972-74) since Alan Wilson`s death in 1970.

  • @helmuthb so that WAS the mole?

  • who are these people?

  • @pigeonpsycho Well, for one, that's the immortal Harvey "The Snake" Mandell on guitar. He played the blistering lead on "So Sad (This Ol' World)" on the Heat's 1970 "Future Blues" album.

  • Seems like the cameraman has some sort of neuromuscular disorder.
