  • Totally, totally bizarre. I'd love to live in the universe Bill O'Reilly lives in, just for a day, just to see what the fuck it could possibly be like.

  • Bill O'Reilly is a lying sack of dog shit, and even he knows it.

  • I totally agree.

But judging by how Fox had to switch their official license to an entertainment station [and not an OFFICIAL news station because of the lawsuit], I think the best Fox could do now is to compare themselves to the Comedy Central which jokes about the ACTUAL NEWS.

  • @marchitecture3 to marchitecture ... I googled for a while, but failed to find the lawsuit you comment on. I also would disagree 100% with your comment here that Fox News is not an actual news station. I think you are rumor mongering and propaganda spreading lies about Fox News, which happens all the time, so it is no surprise to read it here on the internet.

  • @BellyButtonQuiz ummm ok the article you wanted is of Jane Akre (on wikipedia)

And please while you're at it check out the urban dictionary term for Google Harder

*For some reason i can't post website links on here

  • @marchitecture3 hi, I read the article.. it was a suit against a single affiliate of Fox News and not the parent network. Further, she lost the suit. I do believe you get myriad opinions on FNC but I also agree with her suit that Monsanto is dangerous. They also have enough money and advertise on all networks... I doubt if any big media would condone speaking ill of them.

  • @BellyButtonQuiz Your screen name is on par with what FOX News is, a piece of shit, which I'm sure you are too.

  • @policechaser Policechaster, congratulations! You've earned the top rating and now I'm going to block ever having to see any future comments from you! Oh the joy for me!

  • @policechaser That's ok, you're still a dick-splooge.

  • Um Excuse me but Comedy central is COMEDY. You guys are supposed to be NEWS. I know it's tough, Bill, but think about it, there really is supposed to be a difference. SIgh. Yeah, I know, with you running the desk, there isn't really a difference, is there?

  • @philipem01 to philipem01 ........ Here is what Wikipedia says: In an October 11, 2009 article in the New York Times, Fox articulated that its hard news programming runs from "9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on weekdays" and "are objective" but makes no such claims for its other broadcasts, which are primarily of editorial and opinion journalism in nature. (just like Rachel Maddow, for example)

  • smh...when will Fox learn The Daily Show is a COMEDY show?

Difference of opinion? lmfao...yeah one person more close-minded than the rest

  • @ItsMikeontheMic ItsMike ....... hi there. So, if what you are saying is correct, then a person would never be allowed to make a serious point using comedy? Like then ... you believe Cobert never has any serious ideas, or never expresses them through comedy?

  • @BellyButtonQuiz Hi BellyButtonQuiz...I definitely don't think that Comedy doesn't make serious points, because a lot of comedy actually does. There is truth behind what Stewart and Colbert say, no doubt.

What I'm talking about though is the fact that FOX News analysts critique him in the same why they critique other journalists or reporters. A comedian does not have the same borders as somebody working for a news organization.

  • Not true by the way. Look up Jon Stewarts and Stephen Colberts guests!

If more right wingers had the balls to take up the invites that Jon Stewart has constantly openly made, then they too would have more diversity of opinion!

The reason they don`t is because like Billo, they too would get fleeced!

  • @PhilipPorter Dearest Philip Porter, you seem to be enormously unaware of the numerous times Stewart and O'Reilly appear together and debate. Too bad you can't show enough respect for conservatives ... just because you disagree with someone's ideas doesn't mean you cannot be or should not be respectful and polite (as well as accurate and truthful).

  • @BellyButtonQuiz I am not unaware of previous O`Reilly/Stewart debates, in fact I have watched them so why do you make that assumption? And what does it have to do witht this debate?

I used to have respect for Republican conservatives until every time I got into a debate with one they started with the insults. Every single time!

There is nothing inaccurate or untruthful about my statement of opinion.

  • @PhilipPorter Philip, I would suggest that you try to address people with a little more respect and politeness. Thanks.

  • @BellyButtonQuiz I take it you are refering to this sentence "If more right wingers had the balls to take up the invites that Jon Stewart has constantly openly made...."

If so I will rewrite it just for you.

"If right wingers weren`t so craven as to take up the invites that Jon Stewart has constantly openly made, then they too would have more diversity of opinion!"

I would suggest you need to be less thin skinned as to be insulted by such comments. Thanks

  • @PhilipPorter Philip, my suggestion still stands as a very reasonable one. If you do the crime, pay the time without insulting your victim for being somehow at fault.
