the reason (or at least one, BIG, reason) is b/c of Deicide. it's very anti-god/anti-religion in the death metal style. there are other bands that do this as well. also, the world's best known dm band (Cannibal Corpse) never has had lyrics that fit a view of pure and wholesome, therefore are "satanic." christians are idiots this way
