you have to put the picture you wanna have into the 25%,75% or 50% mark so let's say u have a video that's 60s long. You could put your thumbnail into 15s (25%), 30s (50%) or 45s (75%). Got it? ;)

Guys you can chose any picture, put it in your video for 1 microsecond, 0:00:01, and then make a keyframe, chapter point at that time which then allows you to choose it as one of your thumbnails.

This is what RWJ, Nigahiga, smosh and others do to get their custom thumbnails.
