No, They are Ukrainians from Tiachov (Tiáchiv in Ukrainian),a city in Transcarpathian province (Zakarpáttia), southwestern Ukraine.

I didn´t say that that music is not Romanian. I just said that this people is Ukrainian, playing Romanian music, not more. Part of my family came from Transcarpathia at XIX century and they were Ukrainians. I don´t want to have an argument about that if this land is Romanian or Ukrainian, because I´m not Romanian or Ukrainian. The Hutzuls are not Ucrainians 100% !They live in Ukraine (that has a lot of lands from the neighbouring countries given by Shitler & Stalin & Hruschiov).The true origin of Hutzuls is still unknown.Most of historians believe that they are a mix of Dacians and Celts.Their motherland is region of Galitzia(Ivano-Frankowsk) and the name Galitzia it's of Celtic origin.You'll find out more on the net about these mountain people.The Hutzuls that I've met in Romania consider themselves ROMANIANS

You might be sure about Hutsuls in Romania. In Ukraine they identify as Ukrainians. My grandmother´s parents were Hutsuls and they identified as Ukrainians. The fact that their origins are not clear doesn´t mean that they are not Ukrainians, because Ukrainians' ancestors are not only Slavics (they have also Celtic, Cimmerian, Sarmatian and Scythian origins). You can have or pretend origins you want for them, but you can´t change their election in Ukraine or in the diaspora. Greetings.

Ukraine is not a real country!They are Russians (or russified neighbours) that lost their identity! The land was a buffer zone between Russia and rest of Europe.Their claims over Bucovina and other Romanian territories are not real and soon will be corrected.You'll see that the country born fron "Ribbentropp-Molotov pact" will shrink at it's real area ! ps:

Well, reading some history, Ukraine as independent modern state exists since 1991, but Ukrainian people and Ukrainian ethnic territory exist a long time before. Word "Ukraina" (in the country) was named by first time in 1187. The fact that Ukrainians didn´t have their own national state doesn´t mean that they didn´t exist as people or ethnic group. Indeed they had their states (Kiev, Halych and Halych-Volyn)

You should know that no country in the world is "natural" or "naturally" built. A country, a national state with frontiers is social and historical process. What is your criteria to say that it is a "no real country"? An identity is not "lost", it is an election and social process. With all the respect, you should know that with your judgement someone could say to you: "Romania is an artificial country that existed only since XIX century" when all know that Romanians existed a long time before

If you want to discuss (not to argue) think that Ukraine´s history started before "Ribentrop-Molotov pact". Ukrainians' history doesn´t start with Slavics. If you say that "Ukrainians are Russians that lost their identity", someone could say that "Romanians are Italians, Frenchs or even Spagnards or Portugueses that lost their identity". States are a thing one and peoples are another one.
