I was on the last cruise of that ship to Bermuda in September of 2007. That was the first cruise that I was ever on and I thought that ship was majestical. The last night on the ship at dinner thew whole dining room was singing and dancing. it was amazing.

@titanicposeidonfan12 unfortunately they only built one of these ships, maybe they would have built a second if the monarch and majesty werent being built at the same time.

In 1991 I went to work as a basboy for royal caribbean, I couldn´t be more lucky, the Empress was my very best ship.I didn´t have any idea about cruises ships, and I was so lucky, that I started, in the best company, and...in the newest ship of that company. It was an amazing ship, very beautifoul, after I went to france to bring the Souvering of the Seas, and I was all ready a head waither, but to me the Empress was nicer. Then I went to the Legend of the Seas
Great video. I sailed as a passenger on the Nordic Empress when I was 12 for a Christmas cruise in 1993. Seeing some of the interior pictures, especially of the dining room, really brought back memories!
I worked on this ship 1991 to 1994 as bus boy and a waiter. A lot of memories. Why my heart aches and tears in my eyes when i see this wideo? Never had a chance to go back again. Hope i go back as a passanger someday. I miss people used to call me (RAMBO)

I think shes was RCI most beautiful ship built exterior wise but looks her best post Nordic Empress dry dock when she became the Empress of the Seas
