Wow I could swear that one was my old one. Same color, same year, same rims, same XLS, same interior, same everything! Even same hitch thingy, whatever you want to call that thing.

I still miss my explorer.  Once the pacifica is paid off I'm going to look at getting another explorer

i just bought an XLT, but thats here in Australia. have had no problems with it at all, and have just over 200,000klms on it :) runs like new..

I got a 2002 Explorer myself. 91,XXX on the ODO. I love mine to death and have had no problems with it...

But mines an Eddie Bauer. Something about those Rubbermade looking bumpers....

Well the transmission was going out so I had to get rid of it. I loved that car and want to get another one but I couldn't find one in my price range so I settled for a chrysler pacifica :( I miss my explorer.

One thing about those bumpers I've been hit 3 times and they didn't 'crunch' They popped right back into place with just a small discolored mark where it had bent in just like plastic does.

I do like the real bumpers because of how they look but the plastic bumpers are great too

have you rebuilt the transmission?

Ever had to make any other repairs to it?

No haven't had to rebuild or replace the transmission.

No major repairs, had to replace the blinker bulb and that's it. It's a great car.
