This is Hoover, AL. Its an OLD OLD Thunderbolt siren, one of the last few in Jefferson County as they are replacing them with Federal Signal 2001 sirens, there is one more in central Hoover near the Charter central office and the Pointe Dance Arts and its yellow haha. I went to this school, I remember it going off when we were in class. It was so loud.
This is that one mounted up on the side of a concrete telephone pole isn't it? Sweet video, didn't even think this one still worked since it's missing the cover over its blower!
@murrfarms Yep, the rotator broke at one point but the county EMA came out and fixed it shockingly instead of replacing it with a standard JeffCo preferred 2001 lol.
