No joke, it's not a standard gearbox, it's a rebuilt, big bearing one and has been fine for quite a while now, after taking a lot of abuse.
It'll be fine even when the car is running 1.5bar too...
If there was a weak point, it'd be the diff, not the gearbox.

this has to be a joke.. rs lump with an escort gearbox??? lol.. that box will be finished in about 20 mins.. go get a real quaife!
