  • I like that the wayne's world guy doesn't know the difference between pressure and vacuum.

  • Thanks for taking the time to put the video together, but I have to honestly say you spent more time removing the lower fairing than you actually spent explaining how to drain the radiator fluid.

  • can anyone hear him really?

  • thank you very helpful

  • Glad I'm not alone. I've always drained my car/bike rads this way. When you mess with drain screws, you end up with all sorts of problems. The metal on alot of those drain screws is not that strong, and the things are always in there too tight. You end up breaking off the drain screw. Far better to do what this guy is doing.

  • This vid had a great Wayne's World feel to it. Instant Classic.

  • umm he says right in the begining he has WATER in his bike and he dosnt want the WATER to freeze..... and i have a question does water wetter really work?

  • umm he says right in the begining he has WATER in his bike and he dosnt want the WATER to freeze

  • Thank you jimmy !!!

  • Wow ive been doing the longer way thanx. Now thats thinking with your dipstick Jimmy!!

  • lmao

  • What did you say at the end cant really hear you!!

  • GOOD VIDEO....

  • do not give up the day Job.

  • in racing you cannot use standard anti-freeze. You have to use water or a pre-approved propylene glycol coolant. Water itself is a decent coolant and will work in most situations as well as any glycol-based antifreeze. What you should be more worried about with pure water is the possibility that it will become electricly conductive and corrode the metals in the engine. You get around this by using something like Water Wetter, which is pH balanced to prevent corrosion.

  • First off why are you running plain water Jimmy? Seems like you missed out on shop class because water and coolant TOGETHER take heat away better than just plain water.

Second, coolant has special additives in it that lubricate the water pump and the other stuff and lower the chance of your system from rusting from the inside.

  • 1) The guy says he has just been racing. You are not allowed to use antifreeze based coolant in racing as it is very slippery so many use plain water.

    2) Coolant is any liquid you put in the bike to cool down the engine. This could be water or water and antifreeze mix.

    3) It is the water part of the coolant that gives it the "cooling" properties. The antifreeze is added to lower the freezing temp of the water and becasue it has lubricating and anti-corrosion properties.

  • @EspanyolDeLondres dude he said he has water in it. why dont you listen and not act like you know better.

  • @EspanyolDeLondres 4) the green anti freeze is from aliens vs predator. its the blood from alien that has the element of healing. these green blood can make the internal metal harden for longer life of the engine.

  • Dude, you are a moron! Straight water cools much better than water/antifreeze mix. Look it up, then go back to shop class.

  • Straight water boils at a lower point.

  • Water boils at 212 F...at ATMOSPHERIC PRESSURE. Unless your cooling system has a hole in it, the pressure is much higher. This makes the boiling point of water much higher. This is why a hot radiator will boil over when you remove the cap...the sudden drop to atmospheric pressure. It's the pressure in your system that keeps your water from boiling, not the ANTIFREEZE. The main purpose of ANTI-FREEZE is to keep the water from FREEZING. Again, you are a moron...go back to shop class.

  • Furthermore, water IS coolant. The stuff you add to the water is generally antifreeze. The main reason antifreeze is added to a cooling system is because it's ANTIFREEZE...it keeps the water from FREEZING. True, it has some lubricating qualities, but it also reduces the thermal conductivity properties of water...that's why straight water cools better...it carries the heat away from the motor better.
