So, Sonic and Knuckles can use regular chaos emeralds to go super, and super emeralds to go hyper, but tails NEEDS all 7 chaos and super emeralds just to go super... That says a lot about him. Lol

It's a shame that SEGA couldn't develope the Hyper/Super forms of Knuckles and Tails any further. Sonic got the standard speed, power, and natural jump enhancements, but he also got a second jump which allows him to reach insane heights. Knuckles and Tails just get the invincibility and speed boosts.

Knuckles couldn't receive a jump boost specifically because he would be then able to access Sonic's Path in the first act of Angel Island. I spent so long trying to break that...

It works, it's just a painfully long process that requires Sonic 3 to be "locked-on" to Sonic and Knuckles, and then getting all 14 emeralds (the 7 chaos emeralds + the 7 super emeralds=14 total ._.).

to get sonic into super form just collect all 7c haos emeralds. tails is a bit harder it requires all 7 chaos emeralds, and all 7 super emeralds. its challenging but fun.

or you can always look up some cheats :)

well in sonic 3 theres normally the small looking chaos emeralds. in sonic 3 and knuckles once you get the normal 7, it lets you get the super emeralds. which in turn unlock hyper sonic and hyper knuckles. and allow you to turn into super tails.

Man I really want to unlock this Super form on the Wii VC version of Sonic 3 & Knuckles but when I press the button for Tails to turn on any of the compatible controllers Tails doesn't turn at the right time and hits a bumper sphere and bounces back into a red sphere when I was circling the blue ones in order to make rings, and I really want to unlock all the forms on the VC version but no matter what controller I try Tails won't turn in time when I press the button to make him *2bcont.*
