Me gustaría aclarar que Amy es mezzosoprano Yo también lo soy así que puedo reconocerlo cuando lo oigo. Segundo, las mujeres si pueden usar falsetes (los conocidos de Houston o Aguilera), sin embargo la "supuesta" (porque como es broma no está bien ejecutada) técnica que está ocupando no es la del falsete porque las cantantes líricas no suelen usar falsetes sino que usan la voz de cabeza o como también se le conoce, velo levantado.

3) Cantar con falsete no está mal, en la ópera se puede utilizar momentáneamente en canciones jocosas para darle un mayor toque de humor; no obstante, no es cantar en serio, la técnica vocal lírica no se basa en su uso.

@MedievalRodent no pueden, porque regularmente las mujeres ya poseen esas notas altas en su registro y cuando necesitan alcanzar notas más agudas tienden a usar el registro de silbido (si lo dominan) y los hombres son los que usan el falsete para poder alcanzar esas notas altas que no estan propiamente dentro de su registro. No sé cuales sean tus fuentes, pero estan mal.
