wir haben seit morgens 8 uhr vor der festwiese gewartet. abends gegen 22 uhr ging es endlich los.....das bleibt für immer in meiner erinnerung. das beste konzert jemals.
the bass in this sounds very, very tight. simon was really rocking it that night. i like how he keeps throwimg in the 3 notes on the changes as opposed to most of the time 2 notes(which still sounds awesome). robert at 2:54 is awesome "cry what goes in".
The Video Leipzig is not good. God what a Concert 1990 - my first Cure Concert . What a Feeling - we wait sooo long up our HEROS! Lament - Faith - i will never forget.
I was lucky enough to see their supposed "last" north american concert on Sep 23 1989 from this tour. Little did we know. This live version is GREAT! Boris (I miss you Boris!) actually didn't play it too fast for once! Robert's hair also helped.
I was great fan (almost addicted to it) of The Cure 15 years ago, before I've started to listen death&doom metal. Now, from another perspective I see it is their best song.
amazing live version, you can notice the bass sounds different at the very beginning, I thought it was syntheziser, sounds pretty cool, thanks for the posting!!
My god..does any other band hears better in their lives than in their albums such as Cure? Fascinating sound, voice, feeling..to the street to our heart..
Good video! It is hard to pick out one favourite song of The Cure. But if you insist, then it would be 'Fascination Street'. It is one of those rare magical songs that comes from skies above and disappears into those same skies. Surreal, magical, celestial... extraordinary in every way!
Boris is the best!!!!!!! Thank u for this Boris!!!! God bless youuu

It was a great concert, unfortunately, after 1000 the Nazis stood before starting to make ready for us, but we have them the slip

Brilliant performance, they sound perfect here, I love it...

I have the complete show, but only im memory.
I saw a Disintegration Tour show back in 1990. Was awesome. Outdoor show with just enough rain and lightning.

Roger was not in The Cure in 1990!!! It's Perry on keyboards.
christophegautier 3 years ago
Is it Roger or Perry Bamonte that's playing the keyboard? I never really liked Perry on guitars or the keyboard!

How I miss Boris Williams.
A lot really.

Me too, nothing against Jason Cooper, bt Borris was perfect for the band. I gues they maybe wanted a new direction or Borris did. Great drummer.
DWDrummerJon151 2 years ago 2
No, Boris left to do a sideproject with his GF.

still one of the best intro's ever of any song. and one of the greatest songs any band ever recorded. though it's even better live.

Fucking amazing version. Saw them the other day, they played this but it wasn't quite the same without Boris and the keys. Still clean, though.

it was brought to my attention that Robert actually says "quite what goes in" in the lyric, but its still great how he sings it here. so emotional!

The bass also has a much nicer sound -- more closely approximating the bass sound on the album -- than the overdrive that sounds far too trebley.

how did you put the time?

En el concierto del xacobeo, creo que en 2004, the cure hizo un concierto antológico. Y esta canción , fue sencillamente increíble. La bordaron.
Me sorprendió que la tocaran. Fue absolutamente fascinante!!!
