@Teeuw1976 You can but why would you?? The mechanism will work correctly on either speed but why would you slow down a 45 RPM record??

@seeburgsrock just for fun, I never had 16 rpm, in the old days only 78. Here you do the other way round that holy song on 45 goes very fast.

Very cool... I've never seen this kind of changer before, senses the record like a Collaro that Magnavox used in their players... when I was a kid we had an RCA tube console w/AM radio (mono of course) and Collaro modified by RCA with their name badge on it... love these changers
