What weapons are you using? I have a a hard time beating the little human things. I'm using the flaming beads and the sword as the sub.

In this video I am using the String of Beads, which amplifies Amaterasu's powers, as well as weapons I get from later in the game, so this video isn't a good representation of what the battle would normally be like. I do, however, have a response video posted /without/ the use of the String of Beads and high-tier weapons ( /watch?v=ogSlF8gIjqQ&feature=w­atch_response ). In that video I believe I was using the Infinity Judge as my main weapon and Exorcism Beads as my sub weapon.

theres a way to disable ninetails tails. you need to set them on fire. and i know a forbidden brush power to take em' all out at once! first, get a golden mushroom,2,go to the capital when the mist is gone and wait for night,3, go to a restraunt and head to the back kitchen there will be a guy that want's your golden mushroom to make the "ultimate dish" there will be an infinity loop on the wall. when he fans the stove, draw that loop. not only will you get rice but you can use inferno!

Gotta love that reveal on her true form... and the reveal on the missing eye (In her Rao disguise the right eye is concealed). There is something amiss however... Ninetail's nine tailed blade. It's depicted throughout Oni Island, it's used against you in combat, and yet they give you "blade of Kusanagi" instead, in spite of the Ninetails sword being right there the whole time, what's up with that? On that same note, it would have been nice to have kept "Goldnail" after beating Blight...

Its a weapon that you can purchase in Sei-an City after this particular boss battle. I have it now due to beating the game (items will transfer to the new save file). I also have the String of Beads equipped, which grants infinite ink, health and attack power x10.

The response video is the version without the use of the String of Beads.

Yes, ninetails from Pokemon and the Minetails from this game are both extremely similiar to the the foxes of legend, where it is said they grow a tail every good number of years and gain special powers from them

To learn lightning bolt, you need to defeat Ida in a race -three- times. He will then give you the Gimmick Gear. Take the Gimmick gear to Contraption Maker Gen and you'll need to draw a lightning bolt shape to obtain the power (The end of Pt. 115/beginning of 116).

You can get the deluge technique (the rain one) after.. a certain character dies (its a bit later in the game. Don't wanna give out spoilers). If you don't mind spoilers or have beaten the game already, tell me and then I'll PM you.

I'm sorry for such a slow reply. I've been busy with school, work, exams, sickness, an anime convention, etc..

If you can get back to the room with the merchant (its like.. the first room, I think?) I'd suggest buying lots of bones, exorcism slips, sake.

For weapons you could use a rosary cause of its ability to potentially hit multiple enemies along with its long range. But whatever you like best you should use.

Defeat Ninetails on Oni Island -> Go to Sei-an City's Weapon Shop (I assume) -> Purchase the Trinity Mirror.

If you collect all the stray beads, you'll get the String of Beads. Only by equipping the string of beads lets you not lose life.

If you look up Okami list of stray beads, it helps.. You could also skim a few videos on Youtube. But mostly stray beads are found.. "on/in the ground". As in, not from talking to people or beating stuff up.

You need to go back to Shinshu Field and visit Ida. You need to race and defeat him 3 times in order to get the Gimmick Gear.

For the treasure box: Pt. 102, right at the beginning (0:30). Restore the grass behind you, and the chest will appear.
