i agree! why did he chose that? it is the reason why nokia made n97 to compete with apple's iphone. Imagine if there is no iphone i think there will be no touchscreen n97 as soon as now...probably just n97 with a higher 8MP Camera but no touchscreen... Bravo nokia and apple!

Hey lets all not forget that the Iphone wasnt the first phone to come out with touchscreen.

there was phone/s before it, so still no iphone, the n97 would have came out touch.

yeah still n97 would have come out even if there was no iphone yet, but at a very much later year of course. Nokia's direction before is their n96 having powerful camera and tv capabilities, but now their direction pointed more on touchscreen and UI improvements. n86 is there but it's NOT their flagship phone. n96 was a flagship phone. n97 is a flagship phone but same camera with n96. Get my point?

n97 has bucketloads of feautures iphone doesnt compare except for the touchscreen inb which 97 has a higher resoultion to the ifone

thats because its newer. The iPhone has really set a standard for smart phone technology and many companies study it and make their own version a lot better.
