  • this is motor from slovenia saw from europe

  • So you decided to get something silver and plastic rather then yellow and plastic, looks like everything on that lame pos rattles like crazy.

  • ive recently owned the streetmate like yours but unfortunatly had to sell it. i really liked the bike! i was wondering is there is a big difference between the streetmate and the streetmate R? im looking to purchase a another tomos and didnt know which one to choose.

  • I bought a Tomos Streetmate today! I really like the design.

  • lol here where I live all the kids ride tomos apn 4 or 6 xd

  • @LanceCampeau

where the hell did u get yours in montreal i cnt find a dealer

  • @Sticerable Good question ive been wondering the same thing b4 I buy one; will you let me know if you find out? =)

  • i thought a moped had to have peddles in order for it to be called a moped

  • I live in Aylmer/Gatineau Quebec, and I was wondering if you knew of dealers that would be nearest to me. I would hate to have to drive out for two hours to get to Montreal for a tomos dealer, also how much are these within our province? Is it 2600$ as you mentioned to the 16 year old in Ontario? Or is the pricing different over here?

  • @FANADICALCOWHEAD

Check out Derand moto in Ottawa.... pricing is about 2600 CAD

  • @LanceCampeau

Thanks! I called them today but they only had the Streetmate R, and they told me that Tomos no longer made the standard Streetmate.. Which is a bit disappointing considering the fact that I love the look of the Sreetmate. It reminds me of the 1973 Kawasaki 750 my dad used to have. Anyway, I would still settle for a Streetmate R, do you know anything about them? I mean are they better than the standard Streetmates?

  • @FANADICALCOWHEAD

Small cosmetic differences (rear shocks, handlebars, rims, decals, headlights etc...) The stuff that counts (engine, chassis, electrical) is the pretty much the same. The projector headlamps are garbage... switch it out for a proper headlight.

  • @LanceCampeau

Would you recommend a streetmate r? I'm 17 and I'm pretty thin, 140lbs to be precise, so I don't think I'd encounter any rear shock problems. I'm not sure how reliable these things are, but I'm a very cautious owner (Unlike most kids my age) and I'm certified small engines mechanic (I did a 90 hour course on small engines) but I wouldn't want something with reliability issues..

  • @FANADICALCOWHEAD

At 140lbs... I'd get the LX instead og the Streetmate, I had both... I liked my kitted LX a lot (up untill it got stolen). The LX is much less expensive and has the same engine and front shocks... The LX frame is made from stamped steel which is not as robust as the Streetmate's tubular steel frame... but its still very solid. I have not done any major engine work in 3 years.... the only real problem I had was covered by the warrenty (hall effect sensor).

  • @FANADICALCOWHEAD the streetmate is available still ! also comes in copper. look at heeters and other tomos dealers

  • hello I would like to know if you know of any 50cc motorcycle like mopeds and i under stand if i whant a motorcycle i should get one but my parents only allow me to have a scooter or somthing under 50cc

  • Your sunglasses are very ugly and if you lose some weight your stock shocks would be fine.

Now to me... I weigh 260 but my sunglasses are cool. LOL

Could this bike carry my weight if I upgraded the shocks?

    Thanks for a great review!

  • Y don't u just get a fuckin motorcycle??

  • jop, dont buy tomos if your not from slovenia, i am from slovenia and i like tomos mopeds, but tomos dont have support all over the wordl and that is realy bad!

If you look at the bright side i had a moped tomos automatic a3 that was from 1979 and it was stil working almost fine, but than i crach it on ice, 65km/h and big boom :D

  • so its a piece of shit..

  • TOMOS = TO-varna MO-torjev S-lovenija(Semedela)

  • I like the looks of this. I ride a Kawasaki 500 but rode Suzuki 250's before that. The Suzuki 250 is an excellent alternative if someone wants a little larger bike. 65 mpg and extremely reliable and more importantly Suzuki dealers will fix it if it does break. If you buy an off-brand bike, they are hard to get repaired. With the 250 you can even go on the interstate for a short distance as it will go 65 mph.

  • On the market for 'bout €1.200 in Europe. Is my first bike, and I am going to squish all the life out of it until it dies, because ppl? THIS IS WHAT YOU NEED TO GET!

This dude sais exactly what it is worth to be said, this is the best mopad in the history of Tomos.

If you got money for it? Get it!

  • what kind of store has mopeds i cant find a store tht has mopeds

  • @TheDynamicRecords NO XD its dutch moron i live next to the first tomos factory in ede, Gelderland,The netherlands. first it was an slovenia company.. but some dutch rich people bought the company cause the strongest market was in the netherlands.

    so its dutch.

  • @4000marco actually Tomos is still a Slovene brand but you're right there's a large market in netherlands

  • @4000marco

Well, in that case Volvo used to be American when Ford owned it 1998-2009. BMW must be American too because they have a factory there. Heck Toyota and Honda must be American since they have factories there producing cars.

Porsche Boxter must be Finnish because they are made there.

Listen up. Tomos do have a factory in The Netherlands but the main headquarters is still in Slovenia, as is the still operational factory AND the chairman of the company. The Slovenian Hidria owns it.

  • @4000marco

SEAT may be owned by Volkswagen but Seat is still Spanish. Skoda is also owned by Volkswagen by it's still Czech. But in this case the exact OPPOSITE applies with Tomos.

Hidria is a Slovenian company which owns Tomos, the brand is registered as a Slovenian brand worldwide. The headquarters are in Koper, Slovenia. The chairman is called Domen Bockor.

Oh, and when you search for their homepage you end up in Slovenia. How is that possible??

    Ever used Google or Wikipedia?

    Idiot.

  • @McLarenMercedes lol your kinda sad typing 3 comments to get your right give up dude your sad,

  • @4000marco

Here's how your brain works. You saw a factory, you heard a story about "rich people" you can't even name buying the brand, so now it's automatically dutch. You didn't bother to verify, because idiots like you never do, they just know everything.

Feel free to Google or use Wikipedia to verify my claims. Then you'll suddenly be aware of what a tool you are. A tool that was stupid enough to call others morons, when you can't back up anything yourself.

It is owned by Hidria since 1998

  • @McLarenMercedes heres how your brain works.. you look for comments wich are six months old... i already said 4 like 4 months ago that i made a mistake.. you stupid piece of shit. lol and what rich people story are you talking about..

BTW its still manufactured in Holland so its made by dutch.

  • @4000marco

wrong Tomos is from Slovenia you piece of crab

  • thanks!! very informative

  • where do i order parts in canada?

  • would this be legal for a 16 year old to drive in new jersey despite the fact that its top speed ranges between 50 and 60 MPH??

  • @Jetbluryan yes its legal i got my licence at 15 and when i turned 16 i sold it for money to my new truck. top speed is not 50 to 60 miles an hours top speed if you buy it stock is 25-30 depending on your weight i was a small but big kid. i have a turbo muffler for noise and a larger ehaust i can do about 37 top speed.

  • Is there a one website where you can order aftermarket parts for this bike? or do you have to order them separately from diff sites. also, where did u get yours?

  • You could see all the wires en colorfull things in my storage compartment, you've something to cover it all, could you tell me what it is? cause im afraid my chain will one day damage one of those wires

  • @TimCoster

its a piece of thin carpet.... custom fit.

  • @LanceCampeau dude its a european scooter, its from tomos, and tomos is dutch.

  • @4000marco tomos is not dutch its slovenian and yes it is eiropean scooter

  • @4000marco Tomos is from slovenia omg Not from dutch .....

  • @slodiler its manufactured in The Netherlands.

  • Buy a Motorbike... Cheap Shit is Shit.

  • check out my streetmate video in 1080p, its soo much better, its on my channel

  • stop chewing ur gum pussy

  • buy an aerox those scooter are verry powerfull i got one!

i got an 60cc Malossi Cilinder

    Yasuni R exhuast

and much muhc more tuning parts

trust me its great and btw you tomos i beautifull

  • weak piece of shit!! sachs for life :D

  • hi everyone i have some questions....im 16 wanna get a moped lookin to get one of these...do i need a licence in in toronto... and if so can i get my licence at 16 and how much are these

  • @SpriteTechs

Streetmate goes for about $2600 new in Ont.... not sure about your licencing laws but I know that insurance in Ontario is really high.

  • How much would the speed kit cost.

  • @goaliedefender123

depends... anywhere from $25 to $400

  • @LanceCampeau how much did it cost

  • Tomos legend!

  • Oh, and for the plastic matter: The stuff is fragile, and the bike is seriously prone to fall over. The center stand keeps the thing top heavy, and I had my Revival fall over ALL OF THE TIME.

I've got the Tecno exhaust bolted on it as well. It sounds a lot better than the stock exhaust and gives it a bit more top speed. The engine is a two-stroke, so be sure to stock up on some spare oil as well as fueling up on gas.

  • LOL, the storage bin has almost twice the capacity of the actual fuel tank that's inside the frame. Time to do some plumbing for a 'long range' configuration?

The Streetmate's a great bike, especially for short distances in town when you don't want to take your car (gas cost, parking) and you only want to carry lunch and a laptop to work.

If you want a similar bike with gears, you could get a Suzuki ZR-50 if you can find it, or a Honda Dax or Monkey if that's your thing.

  • take the fuckin gum outta your mouth

  • @DrummerQuinn lmfao you tell em bud, but sides that, good video

  • have one..any idea to get it up to 35mph. it only goes28mph

  • @baseballfrk7425

Biturbo pipe, Uni Pod filter, #60 main jet, 28 tooth rear sprocket

  • Lance when are going to have moped rally in Montreal only you can get something like that going on here we are counting on you for that. I will keep looking at your video post for more up date, love your post keep going men.

  • haha i had probelms with my side covers. they cracked on me within the first months cuz my suspsension bottomed out like you said. deffinitely not put together with care. but what can ya do. still love me streetmate r <3 haha

  • Tomos is Slovenian!

  • hi join us on forum slo-moped

    . com

  • Btw tomos is Slovenian and is not east Europe product. Maybe is not so good as other mopeds but is good for fun driving.

    Greetings from Slovenia!

  • they stopped making tomos in slovenia...

    since december last year...

    that´s a pity, i´ve got a tomos youngst´r.

  • @micwello no tomos is fine hes making bikes

  • Comment removed

  • Ok Italyan.French and German bikes are better but they cost much more. And otherwise Tomos isn't that bad.look at the tomos sm 125 or the tomos bt or the apn, ctx, atx, targa, sprint,a35,colibri, they are all runing with no problems,of course if you take care of it.because even an Italyan bike will stop running if you dont take care of it. And if you want a faster take the BT it has a 50ccm(if tuned goes around 60mph/100kph) vesion and a 90ccm( 130 kph or more) sry for my english...

  • I have got a Tomos bike to, but i am not so happy over this.

Many Problems with the electric. I had become 2 new batterys.

It is a "Tomos Youngst´racing" and it had a high Price: 1400€ (1900$)

  • east european motorcycle. not good quality!

Test a German, France or an Italian Bike!

    THIS IS EUROPE!

  • @Cab94x

Italian bike good quality?? Hahaha. In all Swedish, German, British and American magazines the long time tests of Italian bikes always lead to the usual complaint of the tacky build quality of Italian bikes.

    French bikes?? Such as what???

Buy Japanese if you are so keen on quality, the only European quality is from Germany forget all the rest.

  • dude its fuckin obvious... mopeds arent made for 250 pound guys there ment for teenagers without a license

  • This moped is much larger then other models. It can handle my weight no problem and is actually a suprisingly comfortable ride.

  • yo dude. my bad for being rude.. you actually have some pretty good vids

  • no probs...

  • it wasn't build with care...u live in america and TOMOS is an slovenian (europe) motorcycle. uf cores it's not been build with care becouse it wasn't build in slovenia. i have an tomos frome the year 1974 and nothing failed yet. drive it with care ppl :D

    greeting from slovenia!

  • Comment removed

  • it's not dutch.

  • buy a reall motor-_-

or a 70cc aprilia RS orsomething

  • It will be better if it has gears

  • it has gears xD.. it has 2 gears but it is an automatic

  • i know, I have tompos automatic but that is almost like you dont have gears.you dont change gears. it is automatic. But for this size bike it would be better that you change gears manually

  • haha sounds like my old shitty YZ80 but even worse

  • looks reallllyyy cool, but its actually a peace of shit.. and you just showed why..

  • why is this a response to a quickdraw competition video? I didn't see any revolvers attached to it

  • areed

  • sorry guy sounds like a shitty scooter

  • everyone who's fucking around about scooters...

in america they only sell freakin ugly scooters.. and everyone keeps it standard, in Holland everyone tunes their scooter to their own personal style so please just shut up and look up Scooter Tuning or something so you can see how scooters CAN be

  • Also, the word scooter sounds so gay in english :P In dutch it sounds way cooler

  • exactly xD

  • And yes in Slovenia, same as in few countries in Europe (mostly ex-Yugoslavia) we can ride 50cc's at 14 years of age (as old as I am atm).

    Very kool vid Lance

    Cheers

  • im from holland and we have to be 16 to ride 50cc

  • Lance and everyone else out there

Tomos is definetly made in SLOVENIA. The thing is, they are not shipped to Kanada and US build, but in boxes. So the loose things on it have nothing to do with poor quality, its the trader who can't handle his tools well.

I stand behind my words, since i got my Alpino (The new ones are better!!!) and i had to replace half of it because noob trader put it wrong together (even if there are instructions like in LEGO stuff).

    *ran outta space

  • So in real, the parts wont rattle off?

  • DO you ride with the key in the slot.

or do you take them out

  • gotta have the key... won't run otherwise

  • honk honk :D

  • 100$

  • how much was it?

  • ur 34, wheres ur harley, ninja,or car lmao

  • -a Harley is for a guy who is over 50...

-a Ninja is for a guy with no penis...

-a car is for for suckers who enjoy paying 4 dollars a gallon for gas...

-mopeds are for everyone! cheap, reliable fun as hell to ride (except when it rains)... plus, you can double your GF on the back if your not a fat ass like me... good times :)

  • i own a moped (tomos targa lx) AND a ninja. so i must have both no penis and a penis? don't make fun of bikes if u can't own one. i think mopeds and scooters are sick, i'm going to get a yamaha bw 50cause they have excellent aftermarket support with performance parts (much better than tomos). and if u think bikes are for guys with no dicks, then ur just a guy thats posing to have a big penis but actually doesn't cause you feel the need to make fun of people that own motorcycles.

  • **correction "don't make fun of bikes/bike owners if u can't/don't want to own one.

  • Yeah, Scooters are like fat girls. They are fun to ride until your friends see you! : - P

  • not every1 needs/wants one, u skeet slurp. this guy puts up great videos and he's passionate about his bike. i own a moped as well and they are cooler than ever, i often take it out instead of my bike because its the only 2 stroke i have (i love 2 strokes) till i get a yamaha bw50 next year. and the best part? i live in an apartment, the moped weighs 55-60kg and i keep right outside my room inside!

  • @XxDeano96xX

my friend in London owns an expensive apartment in Notting Hill London, owns his own design studio and makes good money. He is almost 40, and guess what he drives a Vespa scooter. Who needs a car in London?

you are a narrowminded asshat troglodyte cretin

  • I just first heard about this Tomos model. It looks surprisingly good! I like all these retro-styled mopeds and scooters that are hitting the markets, though I am not sure about all the Chinese stuff..

  • the chinese bikes are pretty lousy... parts an be tough to get too

  • Oops !! Should have read your Wikapedia link 1rst..Made in Slovenia ...

  • Slovenia... FAMOUS for quality...lol

  • Yeeah man!! I have a Tomos A35 with an A5 engine :D and it goes about 55-60 km/h

and it is 19 years old :D

    I m getting a Streetmate too :D cuz i love this moped :D

  • WRONG! they get made here in the netherlands :D

  • Lance, this is Lance..Just where are these machines manufactured ?..Tomos has a Romanian type ring to it

  • Hey!

I was planning on buying a streetmate but the one I saw on the Internet has pedals on it and I don't like it so I was wondering if it's possible to get rid of the pedals and use the electric start only or if you absolutely need the kickstart/pedals to ride the bike..

    Thanks!

  • The kick start model and the pedal model are very different engines... You will not be able to remove the pedals and replace them with a kick start... well, okay, you COULD.... but it would cost a fortune and waste a lot of time. I would not have minded pedals... pegs can make you cramp up on a long ride...

  • Just took my Streetmate out of storage tonight.... set her up... started up first try! I can't wait untill tomorrow.... first ride of the season!

  • best streetmate video out there. thanks

  • it is excellent that you give us this little preview of the tomos from a enthusiasts point of view and discuss the particulars of owning and operating a tomos some of the things u mentioned you will never hear from a retail dealer and greatly effect your decision in purchasing such an item. i currently am debating between purchasing a new tomos streetmate or buying a used honda ruckus for around the same price, love styling of tomos but love the efficiency of a 4 stroke engine .

  • yo how much does this cost new

  • the new tomos is ok BUT the old tomos apn4 is soo much better then this apn4 rruullzzzz

  • hey are u sure that its 50cc or is it 49cc

  • it's 49

  • YES, i can drive it then in serbia since im only 14 years old

  • lol you can drive it at 14?

    You dont need e license?

Here you need to be atleast 16.

And for a car 18 lol iam already 20 and dont own a driving license at al XD.

  • Could u make some more movies about tomos streetmate? there is not much information about it .. and i want to buy it

    thank you

  • I like the video but have to tell you the gum chewing is loud man lol.

  • yeah.. the gum is pretty annoying.. I have a habit of doing that...

  • *seat* can you tell me which is better?

  • i know some mopeds look like scooters which is gay,but why not get the tomos LX, it looks pretty cool, its the top popular, and its called "legendary" and it can go up to 40,the bad thing is it doesnt have a storage big enought to hold a gas box, theres only storage under the street, or if you have that box above the licence plate, i dont get where your gas tank is either

  • Awesome video man.

  • can you fit a full face helmet in the storage ?? im really close to making my mind and getting one, how fast would it go with an upgraded carb and upgraded rear sproket ??

  • The storage on a Tomos Streetmate will not fit a full face helmet but It will fit a open faced helmet. Stock, the bike runs around 30 mph.

to hit 40 mph you would need the following simple upgrades...

    -perfomance muffler

-bigger carb jets for the stock carb

-hi flow air filter (like an UNI Pod)

-smaller rear sprocket (stock is 31, I have a 28)

  • if you want to hit around 50mph or a bit more you need...

    -airsal a55 65ccm kit

    -tecnigas muffler

    -carb dell'orto 16/16

    -hi flow air filter(recomended)

you get those upgrades for 200€. that's around 400$ i think.

you can watch videos.......search for 'airsal' or something like that.

  • i can tell, ur seriously excited lol...80km/h = my setup lol. the A55 is piston ported = no read valves = 1 more hp compared to a35. put my setup (A55 airsal 70cc) it'll fly, still it has little hp compared to some othe scooter 2 strokes of same size.

  • when i get the streetmate i wanna put a 70cc airsal kit on it but from what i hear its illegal and causes problems, 65-70 km is good but i could use a little bit more like 80 for the main roads close to my house

  • not unreliable, and reaches 80km/h with either a biturbo or tecnigas

  • mopeds frames and shocks are not designed for that kind of speed

  • Tomos je hotu narest najhitrejši motor sam k je recesija ga niso.

  • That's TOMOS, Slovenian shit. But I'm proud of it cuz' I'm from Slovenia. Now they are producing them in India and it's pure shit. Older Tomos mopeds were built in Slovenia and much better.

    TOMOS RULZ :D :D :D

  • sorry I mean TOMOS!!!!

  • what a long comments

    i will be short:

    Tonos is made in slovenia

    (that is europe you fool)

  • TOOOOOOOMOOOOOOSSSSSSSS!!!

    LEGENDAAAAAAAA!!!!

se vid da je made in sLOVEnija!!!

  • I know the Streetmate is cheaper than a regular 50cc scooter (like a Ruckus or a Zuma) and I agree they look infinitely cooler, but do you think there are any other practical advantages to getting a Streetmate? Also have you ever encountered a hill that you couldn't get up?

  • The greatest advantage is the ease of making repairs or modifications... all of the major components are visable and the design is classic and simple. No plastic panels or complicated CVT transmissions to deal with. With original sprockets, I had no problems on all but the most steep hills. Since changing the sprockets I have some trouble on steep grades but it still manages to get up to the top...

  • my oil still stays full, only a little bit oil will be used at my moped...

But the 'buddy' (empty space where you can put some things with a lock you showed) is not big enough for my helmet and in my opinion that part has less quality then the other parts of the moped. But after all, it's a great moped! I'm happy with it. Good luck!

  • what do u mean your oil stays full? i think its every 50L of gas use 1 liter of two stroke oil is used as well (i'm making an educated estimate). ur oil should be used

  • After weeks you'll see a little (really a little) bit less oil in it... but the dealer said I must w8 to something to happen, otherwise it probably doesn't matter. But I think it's not ok when so little oil will be used... But I'm waiting how it will go on.

  • it vibrates a lot because the engine is mounted directly to the frame and also because its a 2 stroke. shocks, i know are shit and the aftermarket ones are not motorcycle shocks. (they're motorcycle-like). when u install them u will notice they're much more stiff than the front which is ok. but a times u'll feel unbalanced because the front is too soft compared to the rear. get an airsal 70cc kit, rejet the carb (#72 jet) and a technigas pipe (80km/h on stock sprockets effortless accel

  • My shocks really feel unbalanced just as you discribed... can I "stiffen up" the front shocks somehow?

  • unfortunately no, but u can set springs in the back to be less stiff to match the setting in the front. i'll post a vid of how my moped is set up. i weigh 200lbs and the shocks work just fine

  • with your "i cant fit a gallon of gas" prblem well you must have air pressure inside the tank. so to the right or under the right handel bar thers a button push it in as your pouring the gas in the button reduces the air side so it will hold more hopes this help.

  • how long can you ride it till you have to replace the oil

  • great job bikes lookin good n theres no way your 250pds maybe 200

  • 255 lbs

  • Well, perhaps it's just a coincidence that some mopeds are just crap out of the factory. My streetmate is a little older (One of the first versions 2003/2004) but I'd never had ANY problems with my Streetmate. But I really stripped the whole moped before I even drove with it. And the first few hundred kilometers I used premixed 2-tact gasoline because the oil pump has to pump the first oil to the cilinder at first. And it doesnt harm the cilinder as well :) And tuned the air/fuel mixture.

  • Hey Lance!!! Thanks soo much for the vid!!! I can't wait intill I can get mine!!! I have one question I can't find anywhere...What is the seat covered with? Leather?

  • No, it's vinyl... cheap old vinyl. Still, it's comfy with room for two...

  • Ok Thanks soo much man!!!

  • Omg yea man one more question please!!! I was reading and it says electric start? But did you kick start it?

  • It has both... I use the electric when it's already a bit warm and kick when it's cold... Just my preference...

  • And also sorry again....can you have pedals on it, and still have it an electric start? And can you even have pedals on it? And soo sorry, Will the electric start work with when its cold? Thanks sooo much Lance!!! And Thank you for the video!!!

  • I don't think they make a pedal version anymore... The electric start will work in the cold...

  • Thanks Lance...I ment like will the electic start work when the motor is cold? Thank's soo much for all your help!! Have fun, and enjoy your bike!!!

  • hey dude

i also have a streetmate, exactly the same exhaust etc and i also had exactly the same problems, indicator light defect, gas cap just terrible etc etc

its a cool moped to ride on but with all sthese problems it can be very frustrating

but its still a nice moped

    greetz from holland;)

  • Hi Lance Campeau, i'm from the Netherlands and I have a Tomos Streetmate as well. I've modified(Still am) my streetmate with a Revival TS steering wheel, Uppered the Front shock absorbers 2-3cm, replaced the rear shock absorbers with chrome 330mm~ ones. all this to make the cycle bigger, i'm riding 55km/h at the moment and i'm legitable to ride without a helmet :) Actually my max speed should be 25km/h. I've much plans to modify my bike even more, i'll eventually email you for the end results.

  • I weigh more than you and I carry about 50 pounds of parts and tools. Lean out the carb by turning counterclockwise, get a rear gearing from an 06 ST. Last MPG average again was a little over 120. And I am running the "let's start a grass fire because emissions requires a catalytic converter stock 08 exhaust." You need like three or four turns to the left.

  • 3 or 4 turns of the idle mix screw?

  • dunno what your problem is, but 3 ST's and over 25,000 miles, nowhere near the problems you have, you hoser.

  • or are those canadian mpg? You need to adjust the carb, dude.

  • only 65 MPG? what are you doing wrong? I weigh more than you and my ST AVERAGES 120. low 116 high 140 MPG.

  • I have since recalculated my milage... I can go about 140KM per fillup. Which is around 85 MPG... don't forget, I am heavy and I carry a lot of stuff usually.

  • The tank on the Streetmate is suppose to be 1.06 US gallons... I have never been able to put more than 3/4 of a gallon in the tank even after hitting the tank vent 6 or 7 times... I dunno what the deal is.

  • do you remember the site you got them from

    thanks so much

  • im about 300lb big build and i was looking into one of these because it says on the site a limit of 350.

what motorcycle shocks did you use and how did they work out

  • I recently installed the new shocks. It is now a dream to ride... I gained almost 2 inches of clearance (the old shocks were 11"/280mm and the new ones are 12 3/4"/325mm). They are nothing special, just some generic brand shock designed for a mid sized motorcycle (500cc). It is important to note that the mounting bolts are 10mm wide. You will need a set of shocks that has 10mm bushing sleaves (my shocks included 3 different sizes of bushing sleaves).
