@DarkDurushi Unsurprisingly, Square Enix's main character designer (Tetsuya Nomura) often used Gackt as a inspirational reference when creating Squall. Though later on Gackt collaborated with Square Enix to create the character "Genesis" for Final Fantasy VII Crisis Core and voiced said character. So its now official that now Genesis is Gackt, and Gackt is Genesis. XD
