woo im proud to say i've been going there for almost 14 years!

i love that place. East Beach. by far the best beach there. nice waves ya know? yeah. BHI is where to be in the summer. and Labor Day fo sho.

O.M.E, the island used to be based on simplicity and relaxation. They've turned everything into an upscale snobfest. Things were done by Kent Mitchell that I never thought would occour on BHI (IE Timeshares, Development of Frying Pan Shoals, Etc.) The prices everywhere are ridicolous and it's nonstop construction whereever you go. I also read that they wanted to put a bridge going through the marsh in the harbour so taht construction vehicles wouldn't hold up traffic. Ugh.

Hey Brock, if you ever revisit, PM me. I was one year outside the Generator Society plate and I agree. NOT a KM fan. He ruined that place and it should have it's own KM wiki listing. I was an owner's child from 1998 to 2002. We rented there from 1990 until then. I think we might need a KM support group.
