@denvermedibuds420 the only change that needs to be done to turn "hemp" into "weed" is the change from common language to slang. The hemp plant is also known as cannabis sativa, indica or ruderalis (the three main strains)

What substrain is finally grown from a seed is determined by genetic composition: more of a fluffy weed, large, dark green plant (with other colours possible (northern lights, purple) = sativa | more compact buds, small, dense, light green plant = indica.[monster, powerplant])

12/12? Where is your weed from, mars? with a 12/12cycle your plants will start to flower right away and will not grow first... and the "cycling" a grower does has nothing to do with a "change in chemistry" but with biorythm.

By the way: It IS the only change. take your 24-hour-plant-strain and grow it with a 17light/7dark-cycle for about 4-5 weeks and after that with a 13/11 for 3-4 weeks and you get perfectly fine marijuana. but that has nothing to do with what I wrote.
